Do you ever read the paper or watch the news and kind of keep a mental note of who is the biggest local idiot of the month? I do. OK, I should do better things with my time, but I've done this sice I started reading the paper and watching the news back when I was a teenager, and I can't stop doing it now. Here's her story.
It's been very rainy here in SoCal. OK, Noah and those G-damn animals never had so wet. So, when it finally stopped raining, but not completely, 12 year-old Alejandra decided to go play outside. In a thunderstorm. OK, but so long she's careful at what she does outside during a thunderstorm. But not Alejandra. She decides to play in a tree. Bad decision. Even worse, she could't climb up in the tree, so she decides to get a ladder to climb up in tree. A metal ladder. Very bad decision. It's start to thunder, with lightning strikes around, and she decides to go for a climb. Yep. ZZAP!
I guess not so bright actions are the norm in her family. Upon hearing what happen to his daughter, papa Escobedo decides to race home in his car. Blowing past stop signs and red lights, admiting on camera he almost could have killed someone, but he didn't care. Nice fellow. He comes in a close second for idiot Socaler of the month.
Well, at least both will live. But, for how long is your guess.
