idiots online in outbreak

anone else notice the amount of people who hide playing outbreak??

they hide inside the power station ,up on the walls so they cant be caught, this is actually putting me off plying this game mode, i wish theyd release a patch so you cant go up there
 
No one plays Outbreak on PC ... =( I've only found Cat and Mouse games. I've heard a lot about this kind of play though ... sucks.
 
Hiding is a legitimate tactic in Outbreak. There's a few places that can be very effective for hiding - like inside the trailer that you drift under in the Parking Lot; you have to use a jump inside the Power Station to access it.

As for people exploiting the glitches, just remember that if they can access them, so too can you. AOS- posted a video of one the other day; all you have to do is angle your car the right way when you go up the jump. Some of the glitches are actually quite difficult to get out of, so if you know what you're doing, you can still get them.

There are a few other areas that can be accessed without exploiting anything, but they're so fiddly that they're not really worth going after because one slip will put you back to the beginning - especially in games that have tight time limits. People who use them might be playing dirtily, but they're not abusing the game.
 
It's available in the game, thus you making up your own set of rules is what's hindering you from beating them. If it's in there, you should be using it too. You can't stop people from doing it, thus you should learn how to do it too so you know how to catch them.

The one I showed where you get stuck mid-air shouldn't be your primary target since you won't be able to get out if you hopped over the fence. If you must, leave that person for last.
 
its not that i cant do the glitches i just think it ruins the game, wasting time trying to get 2 or more players that are hiding, i can do the jumps and stuff i just choose not to, as its more fun to try and outrun them:)

I don't mean to shoot you down, but after saying that, the problem is now of your creation at that point.

You're blaming others and calling them idiots when it is you who refuses to use what no one is stopping you from using.
 
but isnt the point of the game to run and try not to be caught, not hide in walls knowing that you wont get caught???? just seems a bit daft, ive spoken to other people on other forums and a lot of people agree with me regarding this , think im just gna start doin private lobbies , may be the only way to solve the problem
 
The goal of the game is to not be caught before time runs out. There is no rule stating that you cannot sit on your butt for 2 minutes. Therefore, they choose to hide because it kills time and ensures they won't be caught..
 
whats the point in that ?? " oh i know ill play dirt 3, ooh infact i wont ill sit on a wall every game" ye that sounds like fun
