The F50 started production in '95, some cars were still being built in '97, with the GT1's in late '97 and '98. Everyone that I've talked to about the F50 have said it was for fifty years of Ferrari. Even in the huge book that I've seen a couple times titled "Fifty Years of Ferrari" the F50 is featured as being the anniversary car. You can check www.supercars.net for this, I'm sure a lot of people there will agree with me. And your right about the F60, the latest rumours have said that the F60 is supposed to be out in late 2007. Check www.italspeed.com - they have all the knowledge about all the rumors of future Italian models, and they have usually been right.

The GT1's wern't ever put into production a few of the first ones built were sold when the racing project was scrapped, the production started in 95 which wasn't Ferraris' 50th year, 98 was and Supercars. net isn't the most reliable source, it was meant to be Ferrari's 50th anniversary but the project was brought forward for demand but they kept the name and they carried on making them until 97but there was alot less made in 97 cos the demand had lessend. As for the rumours they are only rumours and no matter how reliable it is the only source that knows is Ferrari themselves, I'm not saying there definitely won't be an F60 cos there is a 5 year gap but it would be a short gap for Ferrari.
