That 9th car isn't any that you showed, they all have different wheels than in the picture above.

Were posting pictures of cars that could possibly be the "Ferrari" in that picture with the cars going down the track.

It is probably a 308 or the old Celica. Look at the color and location of the mirrors, and the black trim under the lip of the bumper. I'd rather have the 308.

The 9th car could maybe possibly be something like one of the older Lotus Esprits. Do kinda have the similar shape of a 308. If it is a Ferrari I think it's gonna be the 308 in that pic.

Better pic. It's no Ferrari, it looks more like a first gen Supra, aka CelicaSupra.

I'm guessing the thing behind the Scooby is the Elise we saw earlier. This pic certainly makes mystery car 9 look to me like it's a Celica Supra.

That's the car they're wondering about...

To my eye it could easily be a Vector W8, or a TVR Tamora (the more you look, the more it could be either - despite one being Captain Angle and the other being a little curvy thing)... NOT a Stratos.

The question you have to ask is, if they were photgraphing cars in Europe (they did 4 days at 4 circuits), why would they have a Ferrari in Motegi and not one of the European sessions? For that matter, why would there be a Tamora there and not at the famed Millbrook shoot last month?

The Vector was quite popular amongst the Japanese rich-kids of the 1980s, so it's not inconceivable one has ended up in Japan - I doubt that Stratos did though.

The car with the white arrow is the car everyone is mistaking for a Ferrari. I'm sure it's a Celica Supra.

The yellow arrow is the Lotus Elise MKII

The red arrow is the only car i can't identify in those that can be distinguished.

It's not a Tamora maybe a Tasmin they had that wedge shape, also I doubt it would be a Ferrari, it's true that PD have been negotiating hard with them but they wont test it in the open like that until they have a confirmed deal, if they tested it before the deals made and everyone sees it and starts shouting it out all over the place and the deal never happens it's very bad publicity for PD, and it's no way the 2.5 Supra twin turbo the front is quite different.

From the individual pics Conner posted of the shoot, your "red arrow" car is the new Subaru Legacy - the car on the box (so far).

Same colour & bonnet scoop...

Dunno if it's just me but red arrow car looks like it has an ofset air scoop which suggests FC3S, 2nd gen RX7. The wedgy shape also backs this up. Live4speed, we are not suggesting the white arrowed car is a turbo Supra, instead we think it is a Celica Supra (I posted a pic on the previous page).

That's what I was thinking.

I'm not so sure...

On the full size pic it looks dead centre to me. Blowing it up 500% it looks a little more to the car's left, but still occupies the centre of the bonnet at some point. The FC's scoop is fully on the left side, isn't it?

Then FC it is. I'll try and track down a pic with the car in it from the photoshoot... (!)

well as far as im concerned, Ferrari is the only manufactuer that puts the yellow insignia in the middle of the wheel (the pic in the first post) , so I say thats a Ferrari, but thats jus me.
