If PD were to go ahead and put motorcycles in GT5....

SUV's are for Need For Speed and Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition. Neither are sims.
 
I think it would be cool to have bikes as a feature in GT5, but keep them seperate, for example on the starting menu you could have the choice of "GT Mode" or "TT Mode" each having different events and tasks to complete. In terms of a marketing strategy, it MIGHT be a better idea to do this than releasing 2 different games due to the cost of advertising 2 different games and Gran Turismo has a much higher brand awareness than TT. (e.g Infinity Ward wanted to drop the Call of Duty name, but they realised that doing so would reduce awareness by 40%) ;) 👍

Not trying to start a fight here but if TT mode were included that is a percentage of the game that would never be completed on my savegame, because I do not want to race bikes, If I did I would just go buy TT.Just let PD put out TT2 and leave it out of GT5, the two just do not belong together.

I don't think anyone on here supports the idea of races where cars and bikes are mixed.

The only place I think they should be allowed to be mixed is in a private lobby online if you're just playing around with your friends.
 
Be realistic, honestly it is quite late for pd to consider mixing bikes in as a major part of the game alongside the cars, there probably will not be full fledged races for bikes or anything at that level.

They will probably include bikes as a novelty feature, so why worry?
 
I want TT2, bikes don't race cars in real life, the cars always win, they corner faster.

I would love a seperate TT2 game to be done proper, thank you.
 
If PD is including some bikes in GT5, they should include the EGLI bikes & Irving Vincents.A series A Vincent Rapide, Black Shadow & the 150mph Black Lightning are just 3 of my dream bikes.Other bikes i like are the Honda CBX1000, Benelli 750/900 Sei both six cyl screamers.

I hope there are bikes AND dynamic weather in online games so I could set it to the most appalling rain if someone dares to bring a knife to a gun-fight :D
 
Ah ha one thought i just had, Ferrari made a bike once but never went into production so if PD ask politely they could include this like the F2007.Maybe Triumph are in too so could include the 675, Bonni & Rocket III.Could do the same with Ariel ( Square 4 ), although they are antiquated a fair bit.Maybe include a Yammy V-Max, Suzuki Bandit 1200 & a Harley V-Rod.If PD plan to make TT2, these could be samples/teasers from a future game.Same as musicians do with sample tracks.
 
No - lets get Gt5, then see the bikes in a forthcoming TT2...

... But PD really do have to cough up the royalty and get the only motorcycle track that counts modelled and included for TT2 - that would be awesome on PS3 generation graphics. Once you've seen that you'll all realise how (comparatively) boring racing cars really is ;-)
 
he's just mad because there's only couple ozzie/american cars in GT.. which usually end up watching those stylish taillights of a GT-R.. but, enough off topic.

This ^^ & the Irish circuit too.Would be nice to include off road hill climb events, where you try to reach the 100m mark.Plus Supermoto racing, Mini Moto races for a laugh.Hopefully PD can get loads of full licences such as for the Supersport 600 class, 1000cc class, classic race bike races, Thunderbike, trials bike events, Motorcross & also green lane events too.AMA Superbike races..Also unheard of events & upto the minute races that are happening.Need real time physics, RT a.i., weather, real world options too & RT ambient sounds too.Would be nice to include existing roads to play on ( minus the speed cameras of course ).Need many more makes & more or most of the bikes from each company in the game too.All in a separate game though.
