You have added parts to the RNG wheel of hell which you can't buy in the tuning shop which is absolutely stupid beyond words.

Just to make it worse you washed them down with parts from the tuning shop.

This makes it so the chances in someone getting the part they want in there LIFETIME extremely low.

You should make it 1 of 2 ways. The better way would ofcourse be to add everything in the wheel to the tuning shop. And have the wheel just for that little bit extra. But we all know Sony is outright to selfish to do that.

But if things are gonna be exclusive to the wheel then remove all the stuff you can already get from the tuning shop so the chances in you actually getting something useful are increased.

It's just common sense at this point which is clearly sparse somewhere. Most likely the person who made these decisions has never even touched a PlayStation in their life.

Also add an engines tab to the tuning shop.

And for the love of God... get rid of carbon ceramic brakes from the S part tickets!

If it makes you feel better, I just kinda pretend that the Ultra-High Turbo and S-grade parts don't even exist in the game, and the only tuning parts available are those in the shop. It makes life a lot easier.

An increasingly valuable reward would be nice for completing workouts... Double the length each time. 42km 84km 168km 336km 672km

There is no incentive to continue playing after you finish the cafe menus...

All you have is your Daily Workout for the ripoff rng wheel and the weekly races. All which can be knocked off in an around an hour.

I think its cool special parts are only available on the wheel. I agree that they shouldn't have the basic parts on there though. Most of the time they are a downgrade from what I have already installed from the tuning shop. One thing I find weird is how many duplicates of engines and special parts I recieve with how rare it is to even get them. Same with cars. The game loves giving me Lexus RC F's and X Bows...

I don't mind special parts being RNG based but for the love of god STOP GIVING ME DELOREAN PARTS !
This. I'm not buying that piece of trash ever. That's why I think the performance parts roulette tickets should not be locked to a particular car model. I'd love to use them, but I'm not going to buy cars I don't want just to use them, sorry.

This is one of the many many reasons I absolutely believe PD hates us.

It needs some work to say the least... We shouldn't be "winning" doubles or triples of the same parts or repeat invites that are still valid.

Any parts you can buy from the tuning shop should never be available on the wheel as filler prizes!

When it comes to S-Parts I just keep getting the same stroke-up for S-FR... Have got 4 so far... 3 of them were my 6* Cafe Menu Rewards the other was a workout reward.

The system here is a complete joke and off-putting... I don't even want to claim my last 6* part reward in the Extra Menu

Got Ferrari invites back-to-back for the workout today.

And for the love of God... get rid of carbon ceramic brakes from the S part tickets!
The Six Star (S Parts) Tickets are definitely rare to come by.

I was excited to open the last one I had couple weeks ago… got rewarded with 10k Ceramic Brakes for a 32k car…

That was by far the most disappointing ticket experience I’ve had. The same value as most 3 star tickets, though I’ve had some 3 star tickets with better rewards than that 6*

It's funny that PD thinks people are gonna use a stock DeLorean engine with S parts when the Rampage swap exists, completely undoing any value they might have had otherwise.

I wish the S parts from tickets simply upgraded the Tuning Shop parts, as in the S part replaces the base part after winning it, instead of just being individual parts locked to a specific car.

OP, really nice of you to make this thread, but I think you and a lot of other people around here really can't tell how ridiculous this system is at the moment. I'll make the work for all of you.

Only tickets that give away Special Car Parts and their odds of being obtained on the daily mileage at Collector Level 20+:

4* (58%)
5* (5%)
6* Car Parts (1%)
This is according to this site here (and I've done some testing myself and the results are similar):

This is 64 out of 100 tickets basically. 100 tickets represent 100 days since you can only win 1 per day.

Each of the 4* and 5* tickets gives you a 10% chance for earning a special car part. So you need 10 of either 4* or 5* tickets, on average, to get a Special Car Part. The 6* one is 100% since it's based on that.

So out of those 64 tickets, only 10% of them will give you a Special Car Part from 4* and 5* and 100% from the 6*, so basically, that's 7.3 tickets out of 64.

Now for the even more shocking part.
At the time of the ticket bonanza, I was part of a discord server and I, together with a lot of people there, some also from this forum, decided to track how many specific Special Car Parts exist, and at that time, there were 205 confirmed parts. With new cars added since then, there's now more, but since I don't have a specific count, I'll stay with the 205 from ages ago to make out the odds.

205 Specific car parts. The odds of you getting the part YOU WANT is... 0.036% (205 Special Car Parts divided by 7.3 tickets).

Yes, out of 100 days of playing this game. The odds for you to get the Special Car Part you specifically want for one of your cars is that low. Not even 1%, heck, not even 0.1%..

So basically, to make 100% sure* (I'll explain this asterisk below) you get the specific car part you want (or just all of 205 them) from these tickets, you'd need to play this game for 277.777,8 days. Which translates to over 760 Years of playing this game every day for the daily mileage.

No... This is not a joke. Although if someone here can correct my math, I'd really appreciate.

*Realistically, it's much, muuuuch longer than 760 years because I'm assuming the tickets will give you a different Special Car Part every time, and we know for a fact that's not the case, duplicates will happen. You are looking at thousands of years of playtime.
Be sure that your great great great great great great great great great grandson is still playing this game, and he might get all of those parts.

The problems with this system:

-1 ticket per day.
-Special Car Parts being exclusive to those tickets.
-Special Car Parts being for specific cars rather than being universal for whatever car you want it to fit.
-Carbon Ceramic Brakes being part of the Special Car Parts despite the fact that you can buy it at the Tune Shop.
-These rewards being RNG based rather than intuitive and fun gameplay.
-The odds being downright criminal...

Who came up with this idea again?

Yes, they need to address this parts rng for sure. Wouldn't say it annoys me, but it's a very curious/baffling decision by PD. Thought that soon after release. Incredibly poorly thought out, you have to wonder who signed this off as a good idea, lol.

When you put it like that, it really puts into perspective just how criminally busted this system is. It's not even a good player retention model - these parts are inconsequential to 99% of the playerbase. We sorely need a good system for earning them, whether that's by putting them in the tuning shop, a Forza-style brand loyalty system, or something else entirely.

what they need to do is have the championships reward a guarantee ticket based on the "difficulty" of the championship that can be continuously earned. they could also have it set so when you play on harder ai difficulty you are rewarded with more tickets. add a option to the gt-auto where it allows you to purchase said special parts or engines only after you've won them in a ticket before. I think that's a fair compromise and would bring back a good chunk of the player base as most of us are tired of grinding the same 3 or 4 races just to make a small bit of money compared to some of the over priced cars. they should give out a reward for finishing 1st on every race also.

Kaz, probably...

...being as high as a kite.

And unfortunately, alot of the information we have gathered about the roulette (odds, prizes)
here on gtplanet was discovered because of their flaw, which allowed us to explore their inventory for a couple weeks during the ticket "bonanza", and the "time zone switch" that was one of the first ways to obtain multiple tickets.

Also-
They need to extend the list of availability-

By that I mean more than brand central vehicles!

You can only obtain S parts for 00' up vehicles, even though we all have noticed items "greyed" in tuning sheets for older vehicles.

Give us an ultra turbo for a 2jz already!

Just won a semi racing exhaust for some piece of crap low pp Japanese/Korean car I'll likely never use.

I already have max credits and all cars so not end of tge world. what a pointless and baffling exercise this is. You can't even skip the animation to eliminate the tedium. Who on earth ever thought this was a good idea and who then signed it off?

It bugs me they call it "roulette" when the odds are vastly in favor of getting the worst prize up there. PD knows about the ceramic brakes; they're used the same way as the smallest coin pile. Same with the Honda engine.

Op I agree with you but something I thought about as bad as locking parts behind tickets is imagine if pd would had included paint chips in the roulette tickets. :scared:

Aah, paying real money to use once. Now those were microtransactions with some chest hair! Now if they could just put them in some sort of lootbox...

January 2023. Patch 1.28 drops for GT7

A new feature has been added into the Hagerty dealer. Every week, a rare paintjob from a classic racecar appears in the dealer, for 10-20 million credits. Except you can only use it once, and it removes your car's existing livery, and it disables its use in events

Need a Nissan engine? I've only got 12, and I missed Bonanza.
