oh yeah, i did it in a GT-one AND a Speed 12, beat that :D

isn't the zonda a casual comp pick (if so then i pick the zonda)
otherwise probably the Z or the 'Stang

With the right setup, it'd be toe-to-toe with the TS020, RZ, and R34.

PD Cup has been one of my favorite races now for a fair amount of time. (In the period of 2 weeks, i did it 17 times, most recently with the 427 Cobra) My question is, who would win a Test Course Poly-Digi race? Given to you are the plethora of vehicles used in the cup series, except for the Vette's of course, which would lose anyhow.
I beat Like the Wind with a Z/28, an SS, a Z06, and a Grand Sport. Hey, what's that blood on your face? Oh yeah, looks like you bit your lip.

It's all about drafting and pit strategy. If you can catch the Viper's draft and stick with it, and know how to set up a slingshot pass going to the line, winning it is almost too easy.

Eh? The TS020 rapes everthing else that's eligible for the PD Cup.

What you talking about Like the Wind and setups for? This thread is about a hypothetical PD cup race that only allows stock non-modified cars.

Victor, I am not saying the Vette sucks, it just has poor tire choice. It woud murder everyhing with the right tires.
BTW, the Supra is now winning the polls. Where the hell did that come from?!

Even though a few of you said the 350Z, it wouldn't have a chance in hell because its top speed by itself stock is only 155 MPH. The other cars can go at least 10-20 MPH faster. :p As for who would win, it would be a showdown between the Mustang, Camaro, NSX, RX7's, Supra, and the Skylines.

The Z Concept doesn't use it's tyres at all. I'd bet that at the end of a 20 lap Test Course race it won't have pitted at all.

I just won that. Maybe I'll give it a go in the PD Cup. Too bad I don't really need any of the prize cars from the PD. Well, maybe I could get a Speed 12 in a better color than that dud navy blue.

Tried it in the Z, and i found it a boring experience. That's when i bought the 427 cobra and slid all over the place :D

Eh, why are people laughing at my S2000 statement? It fits right in with the list the author included.

Nononono. I'm not laughing at you(and i hope none of us are). Besides the point, the S2k kicks ass.

Oh, shoot, I forgot:lol:
GTone, the Nissan lemans car's street version, or 996 would take the win, some of the others top out too soon

my bad:O

man, no thread has ever managed to stay on topic.... That's why I love this place:D

Well, out of the cars that are actually in the poll. It's the Supra RZ. And if you didn't see that comin', you don't play around with Supras enough;)

But the AI doesn't use the GT-One, R390 or "996" (assuming you mean Ruf RGT). This is about which AI car would win a race at Test Course for 20 laps.

I still think that the Nissan Z Concept's tyre-conservation would give it the edge. The Corvette would shred it's T7s and pit every lap, which is why it's not in the poll...

Right. The RGT. But just admit it, we all know it's deep down a Porsche 996:rolleyes:

It's a dang shame the AI don't 'set-up' their cars for a particular track... even if it only means using T2's.
