Way too many questions about time travel to know whether or not it would be as useful as it could be. Does an alternate version of you exist making decisions for you and living your life if you go forward in time? Or do you simply disappear until you show up at a later date. If the later, going forward in time is not actually all that useful as everyone you know would live their lives as though you died every time you move forward in time - especially if you go farther than your lifetime. How difficult would it be to tell your wife and kids that they need to live the rest of their lives without you because you want to go forward 100 years for a few minutes to see what it's like?

Going backward in time is a toughie too. Do you continue to age if you go backward? Do you get younger? If you age, you couldn't go back any farther than about 5 years and still pretend you were yourself. 10 years would be obvious. If you get younger, you couldn't go back farther than your own lifespan - which is very limiting.

I'll stick with super intelligence.

I've once read this kind of hypothetical scene in a comic in which one of the main characters rewinds time just before he wins heaps of money laying a stake on one of the viers in horse racing and seeing him off win over and over again.

Chrono-mastery. The ability to control time, slow it down, stop it, accelerate it, move back and forth in it at my will.

Its by far the most powerful ability and it would turn me into god.
Got an incurable sickness? I just travel into the future for a cure.
There is a person I don't like and I think he/she needs to die? I accelerate the persons time by 50000% and watch that person wither and die on the spot.
Best day of my life? I travel back in time and have the best day of my life every day.

I think it's safest I had something fairly useless like the ability to summon a stapler, but only once. Ideally though I'd like clairvoyance.

I know that power corrupts people over time but I can't help feeling it would take like 35 seconds with me.
