If you could resurrect one dead car brand...

Problem is, what purpose would Plymouth even serve at Fiat-Chrysler?

Although I think Mopar guys like to think that Plymouth was a competitor to Buick/Oldsmobile and Mercury, in my mind it was always a cheaper, "odd" version of what Dodge had to offer. In the current Fiat-Chrysler world, that duty goes to Fiat on American shores. So what would Plymouth even do, then? Sell a slightly cheaper minivan, sedan and compact that looks identical to what's offered by Dodge?

Austin-Healey, I imagine the F-Type is similar to what a modern day big Healey would be.

My list:
Pontiac
AMC
Plymouth
Saturn (loljk)
International Harvester
Vector
Nash
Tommykaira
Bricklin

Vector.

Those guys made some badass cars. As far as I'm concerned, the Vectors were America's first real shot at making supercars, and man did those cars deliver!

I'd bring back Saturn now since I drive one. My post from 2012 stands as well.

Jeez, chastise for resurrecting a thread, or chastise for not searching before making a new thread. Gotta love it.

If we're resurrecting pre-war luxury cars I gotta go with Hispano-Suiza.

It's just a bit of fun. I saw an opportunity to make a light hearted comment and took it, is that really so bad?

Need I say more?

If not Plymouth then it would either be Pontiac, Oldsmobile, AMC, or any other American automakers from the 60's/70's era.

They used to make nice cars, but they didn't survive the advent of capitalism.

I don't think Volga is a company anymore, that would be a nice brand, probably so they could make more taxis.
It's not about Volga. This is Moskvich. Different company.
Volga is a car lineup of GAZ. It's not a brand, but... It was discontunued in 2011, after so long history (since 1957), I'd like to see this lineup resurrected one day, too.

Hmm. Tough between Pontiac and Mercury. Think I'd go with Pontiac because I don't see how a modern Mercury would fit in but Pontiac could have variants of the Camaro and SS.

Then again I like the recent Mustangs as a product and a Cougar variant could be pretty cool.

I know Moskvich is a different company, I just think Volga is too.

Pontiac. Always loved how they go the extra step to completely overdo a car. What the 5th gen Firebird could have looked like:

2nd choice, for chits and giggles, SAAB.

TVR with Speed Six engines not V8's.
MG with Xpower as well, the MG SV could of been the first of many MG supercars and was the only.

Pontiac. I would get rid of the grill they had on they late models, abolish completely. I would resurrect the Firebird and I mean from scratch; not just a tartened up Camaro. I would also bring back the GTO and the GTO The Judge. I would practically re-establish the brand.
