If you had more A-Spec, would you play B-Spec less?

I also do feel forced to play the B-spec. Cos otherwise i can't get the reward cars. I wouldnt touch B-spec if they added that many more tracks in A-spec (given that i can get the reward cars that i could get from B-spec)

Well, there's the question of many cars as B-Spec prizes, that without playing it, would put even MORE pressure on A-Spec grinding to buy (if you can even find them in the UCD). Personally, yes, I DO feel 'forced' to play B-Spec, although very begrudgingly.

200+ more A-Spec events would solve ALL that, though. I'd never touch it again as long as I live.:indiff:

First off, every B-Spec prize car is fairly easy to find. The only exceptions would be the Toyota 7 and the Mazda Furai. How wonderful were the developers to place the Furai in the Online Dealership? B-Spec is ridiculously easy, you don't even need to be in the room except for maybe three or four events - off of the top of my head; NASCAR, Formula GT, and Historic - and you don't need to do those to get to the Enduros, the Dream Car Championship, or the American Championship.

I really have a hard time understanding the B-Spec gripe. You don't have to play it and even if you choose to do so "begrudgingly," you can just throw out the Formula GT or X2010 and leave the room, or switch the input to the TV or a movie if you have a seperate player besides the PS3.

What do you need more career A-Spec events for? You can do unlimited events (OF YOUR CHOOSING!) in Arcade Mode, Online, or replay past events that you may have enjoyed. Not to mention license tests, Special Events, and Seasonal Events.

If GT5 had a free money button that you could only press every 20 minutes for 100k credits, you guys would probably complain that it wasn't enough money, took too long, or was a waste of development resources.

C'mon, complain about something worthwhile.

Whew, I thought I was the only one who actually bought the game to enjoy it. Quoted for major truthfullness.

First of all, easy to find or not (and that's just YOUR opinion they are easy, I have NEVER seen some of them in the UCD), you still have to PAY for them. The total cost of all the B-Spec cars is staggeringly large, and A-Spec is hard enough to grind just to get some of the better cars NOT offered as prizes.

Secondly, setting B-Spec up so an FGT races cars with 300hp less isn't even funny. It is pathetic, and merely demonstrates how even YOU only use it as a grind. I didn't buy a racing game to grind. Did you?

I find it either boring, if you overpower the opponents, or tragic, if you try to get Bob to drive a similar car. It sure ain't FUN. Maybe you LIKE games that aren't fun...?

Other threads (there's one with a poll) show B-Spec fans being less than 25% of the players. I guess we are ALL wrong, aren't we?

I'd probably B-Spec about the same, since it's not something I do because I don't like A-specing.

Also, I spend more time driving around in practice runs than I do B-Specing, and I B-Spec a lot.

Another B-Spec hate thread? Do tell. I realize that it didn't start as such, but it's retreading a lot of the same old ground at this point.
