I have no clue what I'd name my company, but Rosenkranz doesn't sound very exciting. All I know is that I'd make automatic transmissions a $6,000 option--a three-speed "freshened" GM unit without overdrive at that.

Try not to be lazy and type full words and such. Slang and AOL-Chat-Words are looked down upon at GTP.

Just a friendly reminder :).

Wasn't there a thread like this more recently in the Cars in general Forum??

Ah, the Heck with it.

I'd call the company High-Test engineering, and have three models:

The Flying A: A Carbon fiber monocoque of a Chopped 4" channeled 3", and sectioned 3" 1930 Model A (with a '32 grille shell, of course) with fully independent suspension and LSD. No creature comforts besides a full roll cage and well bolstered racing seats. Factory motor choices are:
A.) 6x2 Stromberged, supercharged, or Hilborn Injected 401 Nailhead
B.) Supercharged, Cross rammed, or 6x2 Stromberged 327
C.) Supercharged, or 6x2 Stromberged 392 Hemi
D.) A Cosworth DFV - a 13,000 dollar addition for this option. (For those with big balls and even bigger wallets)
All are mated to a Tremec 6 speed. Guaranteed top Speed of at least 195.

Price: (A.B, and C) 200,000 dollars delivered.

Note: may be illegal to drive in California.

The WhattheDeuce?: a carbon monocoque of a chopped, channeled and sectioned 3" 1932 Ford 3 window. Customers may have fenders if they wish. Fully Independent suspension, and a semblence of an interior.

Engine coices A, B, and C, are all offered, all coupled to either a Turbo 400 or a Tremec 6 speed. Guaranteed top speed of at least 180 mph.

Price: 178,000 dollars delivered.

And, the SeaBiscuit:

SeaBiscuit is a fully amphibious carbon monocoque of a 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne. But, since boats are open air, this has a snap on ragtop much like the Citröen of yore. Be the life of the party at the lake with this one of a kind creation!
Our patented Hydrodrive system allows the car to go seamlessly from land to sea! as the car hits water, aluminum plates cover the wheel wells as the tires pull up into the body of the car. The integrated rake of the hull means that your car won't look like a boat on land. Due to weight reasons, the only motor offered is a twin turbo 305. but, we have made a couple changes to the car. the motor is now in the rear, turning the wheels through a space efficient transaxle.

Price: 150,000 dollars. Guaranteed top speed on land of at least 165 mph. Top speed on water: 65

We can paint you cars pretty much any way you want them.

How's that for marketing?

Over in Israel, you don't have to buy a car from a specific company that scraches them - almost every car, even those one-month-old ones, are scratched, sometimes badly. Our own car, a Peugeot 306, had a bad scratch all over the rear right door, making it impossible to open it from the inside. The only clean cars are those shiny (and extremely rare) Porsches (there is only one Lamborghini and only three Ferraris, so they don't count, as well as one SLR McLaren and one Rolls Royce). Even ricers (who are also rare) have scratches on them.

On Topic: I actually used to make plans with my friends, of cars and stuff. We actually had some decent plans for everyday cars, like family vans or sedans. Although, back then, I was more into airplanes. We were three friends, each one with an obsession - me with cars and planes, one with bikes, and one with bicycles.
