Although I give a 5 minute grace to all drivers submitting their replays near the deadline for each race, it appears that I submitted hol101's replay 13 seconds later than the grace period that I set for everyone else. It is therefore with great regret that I have removed hol101's submission for failing to supply the replay in due time.

Indeed. It would hardly be fair if we allowed it when it was only last week that I denied two replays submissions from Team Sutil that were also just over the grace period.

Bit disappointed though, especially as Dan is putting some fantastic times together, and he has been our leading light. But rules are rules I supose.

I have 2 kids under the age of 5, and have been suffering from sleep deprivation for years now. .

Don't worry though your input into our team effort has been fantastic. 👍

I wish I started doing IFTC from the start as well. But I spent hours on race 9 trying to stay in the top 10 rankings. I did so i'm happy. Congrats to markyboy92 as well for also making a great debut.👍
It's a shame your time wasn't allowed holl01, but oh well. Make sure you get your race 10 replay in on time because I don't think anyone will get anywhere near that one.

Sure i'm probably a bit cut, but come on, make a guy feel better after such a dissapointment, and send me your condolences or something, its what kind people do to unfortunate victims in every day life, they try and make them feel better...I appreciate all the comments from the other members and have no hard feelings about Sphinx's descision I sure won't make the same mistake for race 10, cheers

my mate FAK fighting for 3rd final position... but aeropitt is so strong to defeat

but I'm happy mainly for this fact: 8 different teams figured in the first 12 scoreboard positions 👍


According to GTRP Race DB this are unofficial standings at race 9.
I think I will not post any other standings till final official ones will be delivered from GTplanet race admins 👍

Totally agree Wayne, I have spoke to Dan and told him not to worry, take top spot in round 10.

I have also pointed out to him that he has done more than he thinks in terms of his ghost replays, as many people will be learning from it.

Mr. Holland, last week me and Gigi we lost the best two positions we had got on the entyre tournament exactly for the same reason you did now and NOBODY, i say NOBODY had a single word for us like the ones you ask for.

All the enormous respect i have always got for you flies away every single time you don´t win and that is so sad for me..

Congratulations for the winners, and for everyone who has done his best and got to upload the replay on time.

Rules are rules. I respect you Holl for your excellent driving, but the rules are the same for all drivers. You have had nearly TWO WEEKS for upload your replay since you got it and you didn't find five minutes to do it.

And for your comments in this post I say the same as my Spanish forum partner MadMax. Maybe you are the best driver here, but that doesn't make you special, or at least no more special than the others.

GT5P i´m driving not often. At this race, i only wanted to know, whether i´m still able to drive in the Top Ten, how i could manage several times in GT4.

I think there's a case for posting a "banker" in good time - maybe then drivers won't end up empty handed because of a missed deadline.
I have the impression that everyone's putting in 100%, so what's the point in waiting until the last minutes or seconds before submitting?

Dan it's unlucky you lost out due to submitting .. but don't lose face over it mate, just simply be prepared for the final round and submit before the deadline! better safe than sorry as the saying goes 👍

Everyone knows you won overall on the track but the submitting deadlines are rules also and should be there for everyone no matter who they are and what team they are racing with. Keep your pride and don't succumb to tittle tattle style exchanges! you are the best player around and everyone knows this .. that should be enough to carry your reputation in good stead ... just don't blemish it over sour grapes bud

Still a bad loser holl01? as soon as you show some respect for me congratulating my podiums on race 8 and 9 I'll have some kind words for you, ah! to my team mate aeropitt as well for his race 8 podium, it's very hard to catch a podium in the IFTC, you know.

Sometimes you see nothing more than yourself, you aren't a champ yet, you need a lot of things to learn in the good manners section.

To congratulate the podium finishers has never been and will never be a poor post.
I always thought and still think that to congratulate the podium finishes is a symbol of respect.

The same goes for The Grim Reaper as he agrees with you.
