I'm just messing with you.
What does this glitch do?

What does this glitch do?

It let's you change a car(paint and tune) and still be 0/0/0!

What does it really matter if a car has more than 0 switches. It doesn't affect the performance at all does it?

It's more valuable when trading. Otherwise, nothing.

Ok, I didn't think so. I have a few 0/0/0 cars that I have not touched because I see lots of people trading them. Just didn't know about the switch part being significant.

So that means there are A LOT of glitched 0/0/0 cars on the market, hmm:odd:

To switch the glitch, you have to glitch the switch?

And where were you?

Is this by any chance be about my comment I had made in another thread?

These posts:
There are ways to avoid the switch counter. Don't ask how, I have to do more testing on that.
I'll post it up a thread once I've fully understood how to do it. I've done it about 5-6 times before, by accident though so I just have to back-track. Unless someone else knows...?

In other news, I'm still working on it.

Looool, I can't believe mods are trying to keep it as a SECRET since this is fooling with people who trades for 0/0/0 cars and think these are legit 0/0/0 cars and get ripped off! It has become a kind of conspiracy.

You can find answer to this on many other forums, tho.

It has been a year since I've been thinking GTP was the greatest, more professional and friendly forum site I've ever seen and subscribed on but the whole "trying to hide'" thing which is only simple facts like that leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

Speaking of applied logic...

We haven't tried to hide anything nor keep it secret. Not only that but we have no idea what "the Switch Glitch" is to want to try to hide things. LancerEvo7 clearly wrote something he realised was wrong and edited it himself. The edit history for that post shows that he created it and he edited it with no other edits made by anyone (and yes, I can show you this definitively).

Please read and then think before you accuse the staff of doing anything.

Well, that's a relief, because I don't believe there is any glitch mentioned on this forum or any other, specifically relating to 0 car switches. :boggled:
And I'm geeky enough to be on top of that sort of thing.

Duping is talked about pretty openly on this forum. (Though I believe it's frowned upon to argue about it.)
That's the only way I could think of that can make a car STAY 0 switches. If it's not the same car.

I'm no expert on how that works...
But I don't think "legit" comes into it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this isn't a MMORPG circa 2004... Your car isn't going to go poof if you join a race with someone else who has the same car duped from the same original, right? :dopey:

I really had thought the whole reason 0/0/0 cars were worth more in trade was BECAUSE of duping... because people mostly want pristine cars if they're going to go through the time & effort to dupe.
Of course then I figured out that people also collect things just because, and having them pristine is part of the collectors' collection perfection for some people.

Personally, I only care about low mileage. And that's only because of racing performance issues. Not because I want an unspoiled car. :)
Switches, wins... if it doesn't effect how it races, I don't care.
But some people do. To each their own.

GuitarHack
Right... you had to switch to paint them. And if they are 0/0/0 with paint, then you glitched them, and I'm sure many people do not want a glitched car.

it is 0/0/0 if you know how to do the switch glitch

KB18FAN
It is not a true 0/0/0 car then after you do that glitch. I also know how to do the switch glitch but I refuse to do it as people tend to not want glitched cars plus you are kinda misleading people. Thats why all of my DLC painted cars are always listed as 1/0/0. I could glitch them to 0/0/0 but I refuse to glitch. IMO, its just good trading etiquette. Anyway, good luck with your glitched cars.

7945GT57945
And i thought dlc painte cars with 0 switchs would be a good thing people really want. But no.

This is what I have found on this glitch so it obviously exists! If anyone else knows but doesn't want to say on the forum then fire me a pm with it

LINKS?
I still think this is about duping.

But they're talking about painting a car and then having it 0/0/0 ... and I think that defeats the purpose of having a 0/0/0 car for collectors' purposes, since the idea is to have factory paint in each available factory colour. So who would want a 0/0/0 car that's painted?

I see your point! I was just thinking you could use a restoration ticket on a UCD car and it be 0/0/0 instead of 1/0/0

That's what I thought since these tickets came out. :D:tup:

I know that some cars haven't switched to 1/0/0 after I've used them. It's a bug. But I think they patched it with one of the latest updates, thought I read it in the patch notes somewhere?

So, if it really works it must a "Insider Glitch", because some Monk would've made already a Youtube "How To" video about it. :sly:

People haven't posted about it everywhere because of threads like this!

As soon as its out there, it's patched so starting a thread to find something out is pointless.

Everyone is making a fuss over nothing and are going to ruin for the people who use it. Doesn't matter if you agree with it or not just let it go!

Can you tell me on PSN or pm mate?

PD has no reason to patch anything like this. They only patch things that effect other people online. Duping or doing this glitch for example does not effect anyone in a negative way. There is not trading or marketplace set in stone on GT5. There is only what people have made up. Therefore who really cares what other people do. Were not hacking Call of Duty here or something.

Your wrong, it isn't a mod's idea, it's the idea of many 0/0/0 car collectors. If the glitch isn't produced so many times, there always be a highly chance it will not be patched. It's having respect for the people who really like the glitch itself, so therefor they keep it quite!
But you didn't think about that, before you wrote the above, did you?! Now that leaves ME with a bitter taste in my mouth... :D

it's the idea of many 0/0/0 car collectors.

I love this (no offence to you "GOUKIPAU" - this is not directed at you) - this directed to the people highlighted in the quote.

0/0/0 car collecting..... er...... um...... this is a "driving game" and the rate at which Polyphony are giving away credits and tickets through the seasonal events, it's not going to be too hard for people to get the car they want.......

just so it stays in the garage unused???????????????

Hmmmm... if these people want to "glitch" cars - let them, who cares..??

This is a video game for driving - it's like playing Battlefield or MW / COD and collecting all the guns but never firing them... what's the point??

Why care about a 0/0/0 glitch, as for the marketplace - look around people, how many other websites have guys GIVING AWAY whatever you want for FREE?? Including legit 0/0/0 cars.

If people are so sad they "have to have" every car in the game at 0/0/0 miles, to be honest, they sound as appealing as a wet fart.

You can earn 600k in credits in the Nurb GP/D seasonals, I earn between 500k to 1m a night racing my friends in a full lobby in very exciting, clean and competitive online races.

Chassis / engine rebuilds etc etc - no problem, I'm regularly stuck at 20m with nothing to spend my credits on, I love it when a chassis or engine rebuild is required, I can finally spend some cash.

The best aspect bar none of this game is racing in a clean, fair, busy lobby, with cool cars and drivers.

This is what the game was designed for - not collecting cars to sit in a garage - who cares, let them glitch, dup....whatever... they obviously have no idea how to enjoy the game, so why bother or make a fuss about it..??

It doesn't bother me at all, in fact I love it because it's laughable... so let them do it, make a big deal about it and make you laugh even more... sorted 👍

What's 0/0/0 cars 

What's 0/0/0 cars 

Virgin cars. :sly:

Cars with 0 switches, 0 modifications, 0 wins & 0 miles. Like the ones you can get from the OnlineCarDealer.
