Hi,

I am at 40% and I own all cars and lots of money, do you think I should start a new game? Because when I have access to everything it's kind of boring, but I don't want to lose the 'Sauber Mercedes' car, I don't have two memory cards, is there a way to save two savegames on "1 memory card"?

No you can not get 2 saves on 1 memory card.
Just because you have all the cars does not mean you have to enter the best car in every race. Try using cars that are equal or worse than the opposition and it makes for some exciting races.

You're not even close to owning all cars if you've only completed 40% of the game - there's still a lot of prizes to be won :)

Keep racing bro, and like other mentioned; try to use cars more equal to your opposition.

If you're at 40%, you don't have all the cars (unless you've been buying them off other people's memory cards, or using a cheat cart).

Are you A-speccing every race? If not, why not? Why not try training B-Spec Bob up to his 10,000/100/100/100 point limit? How about going back to old races and trying for more A-spec points?

Was it your goal to own all the cars? If so then game is over for you dude.

You could start again and do a game with one or more of the following:

1. No car selling.
2. No car buying ( will get you to 50%)
3. Only 100+ a-spec point races
4. No car modding (will get you to about 60%)
5. No B-spec.
6. Win races only once

I am doing a game with 1,2 , 4 & 6. So far I am at 68%. I have spent 130,000 credits in total. I have bought two cars (A truck and an MX5). And I have modded 5 cars (MX5, Renault 5 turbo, 2CV, Lupo and another one that escapes my memory.)

In the end it comes down to what you goal with the game is...

Which cars don't I own? I own Bentley, Formula 1 car, Sauber and lots of other super cars, which cars remains left?

Do you have all seven hundred and odd cars?

Do you have the Ford Model T from getting all gold on your S-Licence, for instance?

On my second game I'm doing 1, only a limited amount of 2 (making 1 easy), 3 wherever possible, only a limited amount of 4, and definitely no B-spec or repeating races already won.

The game's taking much longer, my win ratio is terrible due to the amount of retries/experimentation and I'll probably struggle to get anywhere near 100%, but it's much more satisfying.

If it makes you happy then by all means start again! I would bet that you are currently missing some rather nice prize cars though.

i did 100% im playin the game 2nd time now at about 11% so far, got 64/80 golds in licenses this time round not done special yet, im tryin to play it to enjoy the driving/racing experience this time rather than how fast i can get 100%

First: you don't have 100% so you can't even think about it. :)
Secondly: do you have all Golds, have you beat all the Missions, do you have 100,000 A-Spec points, etc. etc. There are many ways to enjoy the game and set challenges.

Boring?

I am at 40.5% and have yet to be anything besides boring. I had to cancel Gamefly because I was wasting money not playing the games when I got them in.

I started flying along at first and then stopped because I had 90 cars and maybe 10 were tuned. So since then I have been tuning all my cars one at a time and only increase completion if they fit in a one make race. My A-Spec points have really started growing and I have found that my overall skills are getting better as I drive more and more cars at different tuning levels in different races.

You may be finished with what you want but you are by no means finished or at your peak. But if you just want to race super cars and could care less about certain fun cars then you are finished. Buy a used Prius and race with it. Or get in a station wagon or SUV race with your friends. When I race against friends we start coming up with crazy races that just getting to the super cars won't prepare you for. Have you had a Toyota Sera or original Beetle race yet? I think not! :sly:

Femine is right, you need 50% completion to get Jag C9 Racecar, 100% completion to get Black F1. Golding S-License get you the Ford Model T. Also golding other licenses will give you other cars that you can't buy or win elsewhere (not includes the Jensen one). So far i only have 79 golds, man IA-15 is killing me. I can't control throttle with my freaking thumb. :yuck:

If you are boared at 40% I would think you will be more bored at 0%. So many things to do, so many ways to play the game, so many cars to races in so many events. How could you possibly be bored?

I just don't understand

to be fair to the guy - i know what he is talking aboout - from the game completion perspective - a lot of the game can be a bit of a slog. Most races are very easy (lets face it most people want a game that creates decent challenges for you - not one that can be a piece of pis$ if you get yourself a decent car early doors).

i think criticism is unfair - becuase for those new to the series the game may appear about getting 100%. it may take a while for him to discover the true beauty of the game.

I started again but that was only I felt cheap transporting 100000cr form gt3 and I also got bored just do something else for a month or two and you wont think is so boring.if you play every day its going to be boring!
