Hay guise I'm over 9000, but unfortunately, I will not be getting Prologue until it hits the states. And not the first day it hits the states, either.

When I was a kid I always wondered if I'd still play games and listen to metal when I got older. At that time, in the 1980's, adults just didn't do that kind of stuff.

I can safely say, at 36, that the answer is yes! Good to see so many others share my dementia. I actually think I'm getting worse as I get older.

It makes sense, though-if you are around my age, you were in the original arcades with Pac-Man and all that, suffered through ATARI (love my Intellivison, though, and still use it), were wowed by the original Nintendo, and on and on. I've wondered since those early days, how good will this stuff get? How long will it take before they make the games ultra-realistic?

Well, here we are. That must be why I'm off my rocker, been waiting 25 years!

Man those first Nintendos, and then the Snes came out and OMG
And long may we contine in our dementia. 👍

Not only me? That's good to hear. It's verry funy to see my girl misunderstand my infantile joy of GT in my 30's! :)

Even though it did cost me £50,000 (in cash) :)

My....goodness.

Anyway I'm somewhat excited but not nearly as much as when I waited for Ridge Racer 7 and OutRun2006:C2C to come out. :)

I would've been even more excited if 1)There was voice chat from the beginning, 2)Nurburgring was in and 3)Even more F1 cars were in.

A mere baby compared to all you at 18. But still extremely excited! I have been planning my setup for my bedroom, new desk, wheel, tv etc. Now im relying on work to keep me busy for the next week or 2 before I get paid..

Very good point.. I knew I would one day look back and realise that my divorce was a good thing.. Even though it did cost me £50,000 (in cash) :)

37, single, since the first GT hit the stores.

quit work early to pick the game up.
can't wait to play again. (back at work)

I'm 40, have six kids (11, 9, 7, 4, 1.75, .25) and have been playing games since '76. I loved Pole Position as a kid and was amazed by the first Gran Turismo. I would love to see someone publish the GTR games for the PS3.

Anyway, can't wait for Prologue in a couple of weeks. I was going to buy the new Logitech wheel also but I think I'm going to save up for a G25 and just use my old GT4 wheel.

Have fun everyone, young or old.

G25 for the win!! I'm 22 now and I remember the first video games I played on my uncles sega master system. I remember playing a rambo: first blood game, some motocross game, and some other weird ones. (I think a spyhunter sort of game was out for it too, unless that was nintendo?) I thought my uncle was so cool, grown up and still playing video games. I slowly made my way through all the systems untill I rested on my friend for life. Playstation. The first gran turismo I played was my friends copy. I borrowed it and played it for days without a memory card and without shutting off the ps1. GT3 was the first turismo I owned and I played it into the ground. Then GT4 of course. It is due to GT that I am as obsessed with all forms of racing as I am now. GT is the reason I bought my nissan 350z. The reason I ever liked cars. :nervous:

Lol umm....so yea......

:)hahaha...you could not stop writing there did you??:sly:
haha....

Can't wait myself. My desire has actually caused me to start playing GT4 again. Now...just to wait for that American release.

Funny, i did the same with GT3, i think my ps2 was running for almost 2 weeks straight. I'm also known by a few for having my ps2 running nonstop for at least 3 months. That little red led never came on, till one day power went out and it was reset. I just wanted to see how long it would last.

But yea, i'm only 21 and i'm sure i will be playing gran turismo for many years to come.

The feeling of being 18 at 38 doens't change, not even with a wife and two children. :) I've been playing since the time's of the P2000(philips), MSX, C64 homecomputers way back in the 80's. Having bought a PS3, G25 en GT5P I am just as excited as playing Konami games on my MSX at 14 years old. Altough 38 sounds old it sure doesn't feel that way (not yet).
