I'm going to a Cleveland Indians baseball game!

Let's check off the good things here:

  • I'm not paying.
  • Free ride there and back.
  • And you still haven't heard the best part..
  • LUXURY BOX SEATS!

Yep. Going to the game with a friend and his dad. Leaving at 3:30 tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have some good pictures!

Jacob's Field, here I come!

Edit: Maybe this belongs in the Sports forum. Maybe not. Who knows.

Too bad the Indians suck. My dad gets free box seats from the company he works for sometimes. I totally prefer sitting at club-level or behind the dugout, though. Football games are when you need boxes.

Whatever you do, don't sit behind the plate right below club level. I don't know how Jacob's field is, but in Dolphin's Stadium, the foul balls that fly backwards come at the crowd so fast, it's hard to react. Like, if you don't have a glove, you might be screwed. This fat girl that was sitting next to me got drilled in the stomach by a foul ball. Sitting directly behind the plate is cool becase there's a net, but right where the balls can clear the net is where you want to avoid.

Well I'm back, and got some pictures.

Indians got raped 14 to 6 :(.

I'll try to find a place to upload my almost 9 minutes of pyrotechnic video and my lot of pictures after a while. The pictures need resizing before ImageShack will upload them.

Well, what do you expect from a crap team? At least it was high scoring, so it's not boring enough for you to drill a blunt object in your head.

I nearly pimpslapped the girls that like Sizemore. He may be cute by their standards, but he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a Freightliner.

Travis Hafner didn't do too good either :(. Big disappointment.

Woooo, I beg to differ. 1-0 final score would be WAY more exciting than any high scoring games for me.

MachOne: I'm sorry your team lost. I kinda liked the Indians since......... probably the "Major League" movies. Did you get any food at the suite? I love the lower level seating, but as far as I'm concerned, food makes it OK when you are watching the game from the suites. It's like they are playing a ballgame right outside of your living room(with food).

The only thing good about attending a Clevend Indians game are the hot dogs. Especially if you put on the house mustard called Bertman's Ball Park.

It was like a Hollywood hotel room . There was a huge buffet of food, awesome bathrooms (yes, awesome bathrooms), and there were bags of Cracker Jacks everywhere . There was also plenty of things to take as a souvenir.

Well, there you go then. :D I've watched a game from a box just once. It was a NBA game, but it was the food. I just kept stuffing my face......

Bathrooms at the baseball? With baths in them? If there's no bath, how can it be called a bathroom, I wonder...?

I did. We called them "toile"(toilet), where I'm originally from. Bathroom was a bit weird. Oh, well. :sly:
