for driving too fast in real life, after playing GT5. I'm driving my 1997 Chevrolet Lumina (160 HP) like Tom's Supra out here. I'm seeing flashes of driving lines, and taking corners drift styles.

Anyone else have this problem?

LOL, I dunno if this is the right section of the forum for this topic, or not.......

But, sometimes, yes I do.. I have both an '05 S2000 and an '08 CLK63 AMG Black Series. I already drive like a bat-outta-hell as it is, so even more so, after driving say a 4hr or 9hr endurance in my AP1 S2000 GT1 Turbo in GT5, then hopping into my street S2000 to run after food or other errands, I typically find myself going for the apex, late braking, you name it...... Through my neighborhood sub-division :lol: :lol:

Anywho, i think there's already a similar thread somewhere on here, lurking about.. Search for it dude! :)

I was doing donuts in the empty school parking lot waiting for my gf to finish her Saturday morning class. :sly:
 
I was driving like an ass today only cause theres this redlight on a main road thats probably about 1 mile down the road where the exit to my residence is. Theres always two cars that get stuck at the redlight and they will block both lanes because they don't like seeing the bumper of someone else. By the time you get up there the light is already green, but people want to be dicks and block both lanes so that forces you to slow all the way down. People don't use logic and don't care about others on the road. Stuff like that makes driving a pain in the ass you know?

I wish, but I love my car to much to ruin it in any way. :< I have thought about it countless times though. People do that at that light at least 10 times a week.

I took a 24h road trip from Florida to Texas not long ago. I ranked up some xp and money with that. I'm close to lvl30 then I get to try for the x2010!

First of all, if I'm ever in your area, can I please just come follow you around and listen to that clk? It has to be one of the best sounding cars on earth. But back on topic, I just found my self darting through traffic on the interstate at 95 mph in my jeep, and it felt slow, I guess I'm getting used to the speed. Not good...or is it?
 
Yeah i was thinking of taking a 1000 km endurance, see the sites and sounds.

yep happens to me to, and cuz im 16 doesn't help either, cuz i'll be playing gt5 for like 4hrs driving my 670bhp 300zx, and then have to go to the store to pick up stuff for dinner (b/c my parents like to do that now that i can drive lol) and i'll drive really quickly, and try to find the apex, and i just know that im only a 22 so no full damage for me :)
 
This guy in his LFA was doing 103mph in a 35 mph zone and got it dropped down to 91mph.
Careful sometimes if you go too fast its like Monopoly you go straight to jail and vehicle impounded!! It's always on my mind when I crack my gixxer open...

Our cops here are not good at all. (Florida) If you do above 110mph on A1A they won't chase you. If they do start too, drive like 2 miles and they have to stop. xD

Bahahahaha, done deal mate :)
Even sexier sounding than stock though however ;) Full evosport exhaust system. It just BARELY passed emissions here in GA this last year :lol: mainly because the douche bags were SO persistent with the visual-cat inspection.. (as I had the catalysts' removed from the system...) :lol: I ended up having to drive into 'the hood' to get it to pass inspection ;) 👍 haha

um no. What are they going to do? They don't know it was you driving. They just know the car was speeding and it ran. Once gone they can't do anything. Learn the system bud.
 
I do, and HAVE learned the 'system' quite well boss-man. Hence, my further explanation, as to why NOT to pull some Midnight Club bs like that..... :lol:

Haha 👍 They're mine as well ;) I don't have any visa of mine at the moment.. Sorry man, I need to get some up though! I have plenty of the S and track days and stuff (mainly for self-improvement/review).. But, none of the 63 :( lol

We have anti hoon legislation in Victoria Australia where I live, if you are caught doing burnouts (even chirping the tyres) or speeding more than 30km/h over the limit your car gets impounded for 24 hours and a $1200 fine. This legislation also states that Probationary licence holders (18-21 year olds) cannot drive v8 or turbocharged/supercharged cars, also cannot add performance mods with probationary licence. I think it was last year after the grand prix in melbourne the police caught lewis hamilton smoking the tyres in the street and arrested him LOL.
