I'm itching to know what new DLC is

I think the new DLC offering will rather closely resemble the one from October.

But (since this seems to be turning into a hopes and dreams thread) what I would be really excited to see is: 2 real world tracks; 2 "classic" Gran Turismo tracks; 10 production cars (particularly a premium Bugatti Veyron) representing a wider range of manufacturers; 10 racing cars.

I think we all can agree we want more cars and more tracks.
Honestly, I'm pretty sure I will be happy whatever the DLC is, but I think I'm happy with Nascars at the moment, don't need anymore..

Dont forget we (those who bought mutiple DLC/complete dlc pack) are also getting something free for xmas too.....

I think that will be that new Toyota 86.

As for actual DLC, as most people have said I think we need more tracks as opposed to cars but both would be morethan welcome! :)

Am I the only one who found the last DLC boring? A bunch of pretty dull and stupidly fast race cars with a lack of charm, paint that I am scared to use, race suits I could not care less about having or using, and a track that now just annoys me, though that is mainly due to other people...

Personally I hope the new DLC will include some longer tracks, whether they be original GT material or real circuits, and a decent pack of new premium cars. And I don't really care which! They could release all the pre-R33 standard Skylines for all I care, I would be grateful for the extra content that might actually interest me in this game again

I actually think the 86/FRS/BRZ and the 2012 GTR will be free updates and wouldn't mind if they continue with the TC addition's in the DLC. The TC's in the last DLC were ok but they were all the cars we figured PD would churn out (I actually like them all bar the Challenger and Prius). With those out of the way (if they stick to 11 TC's at a time) the remaining choices look good. I also would love DB9, 430, 300 SL, Viper, Cobra, Gallardo, Caterham (I know it's standard :)), MP4-12C, Mustang Mach 1, Focus ST as TC's, I could go on and on.

Even more though I would also rather just get all the old track's in this DLC, even if it mean's nothing "new" for 2 more months.

I agree, I believe the 86/FRD/BRZ will be in the update for free, since it would help promote the car, and I am sure that PD and Toyota wants everyone to have it. I am on the fence weather I think the 2012 GTR would be free though. However, I don't think the next DLC will include TCs because the first was a race car pack, and I don't think they will do 2 race car packs in a row.

I am hoping for a muscle car pack, but I am guessing it might be a tuner car pack and include last years SEMA winner, among others.

Last year's SEMA winner was apparently another overpowered tuned muscle car, I think it was a Camaro...hopefully if they include it they will use the R35 hax on it so it goes round corners :D

I guess we'll have to pay for the 86, the 2012 GT-R, some Jingle Bells horns and the special Christmas racing suit and that's it. LOL

A just want a couple Ferraris and a couple F1 tracks. F50 and F355, Silverstone and Interlagos will do.

But now, seriously, I don't think we're getting any really new stuff for a while, but maybe that's just me trying not to get my hopes up.

I write this in another thread

"First Gran Turismo game came out December 23 1997, and I was thinking maybe next DLC will come around December and include the GT original tracks to celebrate anniversary.

Just a thought I had "

December 23 2012 💡

I don't want anymore cars, only tracks. And the test track is a long oval, don't need that at all.

This is what I'm hoping to see too, though it may have to come in stages. The entirety of the GT5 Prologue update was 1.7GB if I remember right, which had 37 cars and the High Speed Ring track, along with some new music and a physics update. So the Classic Tracks, which I hope to see ALL of them eventually, could come in a three or five track download. Though along with them, I would like to see some new cars and new features added to GT5.

The Ferrari F50 would be nice, though I want to see the 355 Challenge too. And I want to see Racing Mods to many of the Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Ford GT and other supercars. But I don't want the rest of the garage to be neglected. Hatchbacks like the Civics and VW Golfs, the Minis, as well as the Mustangs and Vipers... I want to see many more cars added as Race Moddable cars, and with more than one simple livery template.

I also want to see more racing liveries for the existing race cars. And guys, these would be skins, easy to make, as would more Race Mods for us.

I'm hoping they can make an update which improves the physics even more, as well as the graphics, and adds tremendously to the A-Spec races. At the very least, I want to see an Event Generator tool which allows us to make single races or entire championships, both off- and online, complete with rule restrictions, bot difficulty levels and prizes. A "co-op" race which lets us flesh out a field with bots when we only have two or five friends to race with, or however many, would be a fantastic addition.

Whatever the DLC will be, who knows. Other than the Scion. ;) But I'm hoping to see a few of these bullet points in the Christmas "gift" to us from PD.

Well, I think it's possible we will get a Tokyo Auto Salon update, including the 86 in all variants and some other cars which were unveiled there. The 2012 GT-R is also likely. Would love some new European and American cars though.

The F50 is ugly 👎

Appearance does not make a car worth. Just as an example, look at that horrible Gumpert Apolo:crazy: thing that most people want. It is butt ugly, but it is an amazing piece of machinery that would make any car enthusiast drool.

Or look at the M5 E60. That thing is an eyesore:yuck: (one of my favorite cars btw) but it has one of the best engines ever built and can beat many exotic cars as twice as expensive.

I'd like some new cars like the rest but would not mind if we get some more rm/tc cars. They would have to a group of cars that would be in the same class though.

I expect more skylines... Or a Dtm version of the mercedeswould be awesome to. Audi would be harder because there is no premium a4 (shame on you pd). Just ardent the 2011 Dtm cars would create a whole new class and all they would have to do is ad two cars.

It's going to be the New Toyota-Scion-Subaru-Whatever and something else...

More RM's would be nice... :) A DBR9 based TC would be awesome :D

A Prius TC Santa edition, with 8 Reindeer to give an extra few horsepower(or should that be reindeerpower!!) when its needed! :D Oh yeah, and a big hat :sly:

For some reason the European cars slipped right past my sleepy mind this morning. Being able to Race Mod the BMWs, Mercedes-Benzs, Audis and more would give us a lot more cars to devote to a DTM-style race series.

Gah, I have to quit napping in my chair, get out of here, and get on with my day.

Bugatti veyron TC:dopey:

If its just the scion, i dont see the dlc being too expensive, but then again it is a brand new car.

Now that i think about it, im kind of surprised there isnt a special version of the citroen gt.
