Eeek too many people saying they would be happy with more imaginary TC versions of existing cars

Kaz and PD *might* just read this you know, and think "well that's easy enough to do!"

Please just some *new* cars (which means old cars too but new to GT5!) and preferably to include some supercars, not just x variations of existing Japanese cars or all of the different iterations of the GT-86 👎

I'm sure what ever is being released is already buttoned up and finished. Least I would hope so.

Even though I'd obviously also prefer completely new additions, I fear all we're gonna get for now are more TC versions.
And since we got 1 Japanese car and 11 new NASCAR cars in the spec 2 update and one American and about a dozen Japanese cars (or TC versions) as DLC, I'm hopeful the next batch at least includes some European (TC) cars.

As for imaginary TC versions, the TC option does offer new possibilities compared to RM, since the specifications can be completely different now.
So therefor I'm waiting for the Samba Concept by GT, a completely redesigned Samba bus with a mid-engined V10 from Audi/Lamborghini to replace the Renault Espace F1 from GT2. :D

Someone already said that December 23rd was when GT was originally launched. Fingers crossed a few favourites from old GT games will be included. I'm thinking something from GT1, the Espace F1( GT2), at least one old F1 (Polyphony 001 etc from GT3) and the Auto Union or Nike 2022 from GT4. Although I can't see this being the case sadly.

id like sepang and interlagos.... oh and silverstone.... and a pony..... daddy can i have a pony *explodes*

I just would like too se the DLC split up some. Have cars come as each car not a pack. I could have done with out a Prius but would have liked two Challangers.

That's a lot to ask for in two months, don't you think?

Not at all.

PD has already modeled a 2013 Japanese car (Scion, Subaru). I'm sure they could have easily made a Koenigsegg from '08 or '09 or '10 by now. But their preference of cars is a bit different than most games.

Secondly, it's probably a bit foolish to think they've only made 15 RM's since Nov. 2010. PD knows they have to remain at least somewhat current, so I am sure they have other cars locked away for GT6 or future DLC. Just like Turn10 has already modeled the Aventador, PD could have easily as well. Maybe they'd rather save it for a Xmas release. Either way, it'd be cool to see it gets its own promotional video like the BRZ, FR-S.

I, for one, would like to see more race mods on cars. I don't like the TC thing as I can't outfit 3 of the same vehicle for 3 different classes. I also think sticking a few spoilers on existing models and selling them to us is lame.

I think rm mods should be released as normal updates as well as updating select standard cars to premium with included rm mod (although I do believe this would be sufficient for paid dlc as well).

Dlc, to me should include intirely new content imo. New and classic tracks, upgraded premiums as stated and previously unincluded models. These can be more modern cars like the completely missing a4 or scirocco or classic cars from the series past...with rm mods included of course...

I would also like to address the issue of "fantasy" race cars I keep seeing pop up. I derive no pleasure pretending to drive some other dudes car so they don't need to be the actual cars. Liscensing issues can muck up inclusion of many and slow release of other content. I think any car can be raced and should be raced.

.Given the choice between having actual race cars or rm mods and a livery editor (oh please Kaz) I take the latter. I believe it would be easier to implement (liscensing) and would build a stronger GT community

hmmm this is a tough one. I think we will most likely see the newest integration of the BRZ/FR-S/GT86, which I have absolutely no problem with. I am quite fond of the car. I also think the 2012 GT-R would be an awesome add. I wouldn't care that it would be another GT-R. An R8 V10 GT and a Gallardo Superleggera would be nice as well.

If we have to have TC's... copies of FIA GT3 machines.
-SLS GT3
-MP4 GT3
-DB9 GT3
-Z4 M GT3
-R8 GT3
I'm sure there's more that i'm missing

As far as tracks.
-Brno
-Autopolis
-Suzuka Kart track
That would do me good

Racing modifications in last DLC were pure fantasy pieces, nothing for me. I would welcome:

2007 BMW M6 E63 (Premium)
1985 BMW M635CSi (Premium)
2012 BMW M5 F10 (Premium)
2002 BMW M5 E39 (Premium)
1995 BMW M5 E34 3.8 (Premium)
1985 BMW M5 E28 (Premium)
2004 BMW M3 E46 (Premium)
2004 BMW M3 E46 CSL (Premium)
1998 BMW M3 E36 3.2 (Premium)
1988 BMW M3 E30 (Premium)
1988 BMW M3 E30 DTM (Premium)

and Hockenheim or Sachsenring Track

At least neither of those cars is too rare to get it for computer modelling and all the work would be payed very well with DLC.

===== OR ================

Australian V8's

and Bathurst (Mt. Panorama) Track

===== OR ================

just pack of original GT Tracks:

- El Capitan
- Citta Di Aria
- Costa Di Amalfi
- Midfield

Best DLC request ever posted on GTP. +1000000000000000000000000 :sly:

What oh what will it be? I hope some new tracks. Pikes peak and, for the love of god, Midfield with time/weather change. As for cars I would like tc versions of a ferarri, jaguar, aston martin, ford, bmw and the mclaren f1.

I was one of the "PD Y U NO more Supercars???" guys, now I gladly trade in all the 800 standard cars (except the Catheram and Formula GT) and some crappy premium models in excange of 5 new tracks.
Heck, even if we they RM convert all the Aston, Lambo, Ferrari, Mecca I steel feel the need of more tracks.

Dtm 2012 line up and a fia-gt gt2 (alms) line up for 2011. Boy would I kill for the m3 gt2!
While they're at it they could throw in mid Ohio or Sebring or hockenhiem. Would be wonderful!

I'm down for these too.

I can not wait for update and DLC. Everytime When I go check twitter for new info, so each time I hope that will anything new... I hope some old clasics track, like SSR 11, old Rome (GT3), Test Course, Seattle, Midfield... and I actually have no idea what can be in the next update... Maybe weather/time on all tracks? Or more premium cars? Better visual and mechanical damage? Matchmaking? Better shadows? No tearing..? City tracks without bariers? OR C-Spec? It's many thing, that can be there.

Yep.

I'm in the same boat. Checking GTP and Kaz twitter 100 times per day. Started to play some other games to chill out a bit.

GT nut? Yeah. :scared:

Eleven Beemers is one of the best DLC posts ever?? I love BMW too, but I like variety. If you mean BMW race or rally cars, now you have my attention. :dopey:

Aren't there a few rally Beemers? If not then race cars would warm my heart.

I often wonder why people like Baron will mention a few challenging locations like El Capitain and Costa di Amalfi, and then tack on Midfield at the end. Frankly, the track I'd rather see is Red Rock Valley. We haven't seen it since GT2, and it's rather similar but throws in a curve or two more.

the only thing certain is that we all are going to get disappointed.

everyone is waiting for at least 4 tracks in this update, 2 of previous gt games, and at least 10 new cars that aren't in the game in any variation (so gt-r's, ft-86 and the new subaru don't count).

I already went for the obvious choice and downloaded some tracks and cars in rfactor for free, lol.

Well, I'm a Bimmernut to the bits. Can't deny 💡

RedRock in time change and full GT5 graphics glory would be fantastic. Good memories, countless laps on that one for a very efficient GT2 grinding.

About GT4 tracks. For me, you said the ones that I want back. El Capitain, Costa di Amalfi and Midfield. So want these too.

Well not really ... they probably had early access to the car seeing that toyota and PD have somewhat of a partnership. The way Turn 10 and PD model cars are different so you cant really compare the 2.
But if we get no news today or tomorrow im betting we will get some next week.
