And that's a bad thing? TCs and RMs of existing cars most probably take far less time to model than brand new cars. It's better bang for the time/expense needed.Eeek too many people saying they would be happy with more imaginary TC versions of existing cars
Kaz and PD *might* just read this you know, and think "well that's easy enough to do!"
I personally despise driving the karts...I don't even like them being in my garage (DLC karts only now). I could do without any kart oriented things from here on out...but I know others enjoy them so I wont b*tch too much lol.I'd like to see diversity in the tracks available for DLC more than anything.
For example, the first DLC provided a large GP course (Spa) and a short kart track. So for the upcoming DLC, maybe they could provide a medium-size GP course (like Zandvoort, Circuit G.Villeneuve, Sugo, Hockenheimring or Hungaroring) or a course more suited to sports cars (like Brands Hatch or Dijon-Prenois) coupled with a street circuit (like SSR11, Guia, Pau or Opera Paris). The following DLC could then bring another large GP circuit (like Sepang, Imola, Road America or Mugello) and a returning PD original (like Midfield or Apricot Hill). I just want some diversity. I won't be happy with a karting track for every DLC.

Plus, some of us, such as myself, play almost exclusively online with race cars. A TC based on an existing sports car or super car is an as good if not better proposition to me than most road cars (though with exceptions).
Eleven Beemers is one of the best DLC posts ever?? I love BMW too, but I like variety. If you mean BMW race or rally cars, now you have my attention.
Aren't there a few rally Beemers? If not then race cars would warm my heart.
I often wonder why people like Baron will mention a few challenging locations like El Capitain and Costa di Amalfi, and then tack on Midfield at the end. Frankly, the track I'd rather see is Red Rock Valley. We haven't seen it since GT2, and it's rather similar but throws in a curve or two more.
I agree-ish. I like the TC, but their performance levels don't fit into any real series. I'd prefer to see the real race cars based off of cars in the game. M3 gt2, z4gt3, f430gt, dbr9, ect...I'd like to see diversity in the tracks available for DLC more than anything.

It would defiantly be a more realistic approach were I would not complain. Im not sure why they havent done this...but, then again, we have only had once batch. Time will tell.I agree-ish. 2000+ cars is enough, gimme back my GT4 tracks, oh Motegi, Costa di Amalfi and Citta di Aria, how i long for thee.
disinfectedI saw someone mention Ariel Atom towards the beginning of the thread. Surprised no game in particular has picked that one up yet. You'd think at least one racing game would have it by now.
Is it not in PGR 4. I think it is. I maybe wrong though.

I'm not a fan of them either. But if PB is going in the direction of fantasy open-wheel vehicles based on real vehicles, I would like to see them create lower end formula cars. Say, give us one based on a Formula 3 in the same way the Formula GT is based on F1 and give it a name like "Formula Sport" or "Formula 250" (assuming it has ~250 bhp). Maybe also a mid-range model based on a FR3.5 or GP2 car with 450-600 bhp (call it the "Formula Clubman"). I'd really like to see that and think it would be great for online spec racing, especially if we could paint and give numbers to such cars.I personally despise driving the karts...I don't even like them being in my garage (DLC karts only now). I don't think they need to be in made to existing racing series specs, but some sort of spec specificness would be appreciated. For example, I like how the FTO, Impreza, RX-7, S2000 and Altezza LMs all had similar HP levels and similar performance in GT3. I'd like it if the TC and RMs could be easily grouped into classes of similar HP, weight and downforce levels. Some to the GT1 spec (~600 hp, ~1100 kg, medium downforce levels), some to GT2 spec (~450 hp, same weight and df), some to WTCC spec (~250-300 hp, 1150 kg, low downforce levels) etc. Right now they are all over the place.I agree-ish. Lets hope not....My pessimistic/realistic opinion as not to get my hopes up:
+ Scion 86 will prob be the main "attraction"
-more racing gear
-more paints
-more go karts
-more "kart" tracks
-another "special edition" variant of GTR
-more race modded/tuned variants of a few more makes/models already in the game.

TGTT should be modified to allow drag races down the runway
Actually, a better way to put it might be "Top Gear Test Track should be completed so we can do drag races on the runway."
How do you figure anything points to a small update? I see no indication of any sort of hint as to what we'll get. All indications seem to be that some people around here are intentionally being downers.![]()
