I must say that is simple amazing. Why do I never see these on the road?

Only $22,000-ish is a great deal for such a quick SUV.

For one thing, it's new for 2004. And GM's afraid to advertise it - first because they didn't actually produce the engine giving it all this power, and second and more importantly because they don't want to upstage the arrival of the 2005 Chevrolet Equinox. The Vue meets its modest sales goals, though - and buyers will certainly enjoy all this power. The fact is, it's quicker than all other SUVs - ever - except the GMC Typhoon and Porsche Cayenne Turbo. That's got to be good for something.

Do you get the Toaureg there M5? The top of the range is diesel :sucks:

I'm probably getting a Vue later this year, on Doug's recommendation.

We get the Touareg, but not the diesel - still, it's got something like five-zillion pound feet of torque. I believe it's the most torque ever for both a diesel and an SUV (and, of course, a diesel SUV).

:( You're cutting the Vue down. Four front-drivers quicker than the Vue. Though if I really wanted, I could claim the Pontiac ties the Vue, and Nissan's time is the one from the manufacturer.

Cough, you could've at least come up with some close ones. The RSX-S does 0-60 in about 7.6secs; the S60 T5 in about 7.3secs; the Accord V6 sedan in about 7.3 (remember, it's an automatic only) and the coupe in about 7.0. I know it's hard to believe that Saturn makes a sport-utility vehicle faster than all but one sport-utility vehicle and all but four front-drive cars, but, in fact, they do. Live in a changed world.
