That's not the way to get what you want. Try childish name calling, and perhaps pranks.

Is Jean Jennings (nee Lindamood) still writing for Automobile?
I like her almost as much at Pete Egan at Road and Track.

At the risk of sounding condescending:
I have 4 or five (copier paper) boxes of Road and Track, Car and Driver, Hot Rod, Car Craft, Sport Truck, and Automobile in my basement.
Then there's 6 more in my closet of A lot of the same plus Various Guitar magazines for the last 8 years, Plus probably 2 years of Import Tuner, Super Street, and others.
Funny thing about the Import Tuner (2NR) mags is that I have 2 Fords, A Chevy, and a Plymouth.

So what's your point?

Oh, and welcome to the Planet.

Actually, the crazy paint job fad started with Full-Size Vans. They were painted very distintively, and modded to the same extent as cars are today.
It's just that the stuff (TV's and such), was much bigger then and took up so much room that you needed a van or a sedan delivery to hold it all.

With the exception of the huge wings, people were doing the lowering and 17-inch wheels, and loads of billet, with trucks in the mid to late 80's.

So I am sure you have some articles for cheap performance out of an 89 Iroc-z huh? hmm. . . . Intersting, I might be picking your brain sometimes :D

You can learn alot from arrogant n00bs, that feel they can answer anything thrown at them. I do.

And Jugend, the Toureg is very cool. Alot better than it's twin, the Cayenne... I think it would fit a babyseat in as well...

here monster7 :D

That might require some digging.

However, I slowed down on my Hot Rod, Super Chevy, and Car Craft, after I got married in 1983.
But I may have a few ideas.

Mostly, I would do the heads, and pistons to run that thing out to 383 cubic inches.
Then the "usual": Improved fuel system, headers, freer flowing exhaust, and if it's an automatic, a B & M shift kit.
