This is a big ass piece of crap, flush it.

This is what happens when you cheap on alot of things, you know? Cut corners, etc. Not like my 3 or 4 hour WRX that was just something quick while I waited for SNL, this is something that is being paid for and it looks like ****. So Im gonna redo, the deadline isnt for another month, plus I already have the ad layout done.

Well, I love the car too. But the rear wing, I really, really don't like.
Is it me or just about every single Skyline vector I see on the net looks beautiful? :odd
 
If you ask me, there is too much colour in it. I mean, look at the side of the car where the door is, there is like 8 different shades.
 
Do-Luck GTR... mmm... nice work IR... but i'd love to be able to make "crap" like that...
 
Shannon, there are 10 shades of that purple all together that I used on the car.

Anything lesser than my RX7, like my Skyline, WRX, this, or everything else I post at DevArt sucks. Just look at them closely, they all have a million flaws I never cared to fix because I didnt get paid for them.
 
You guys beat yourself up too much. That is awesome. Definitely Do-Luck just by looking at it. IMO I love the wing, cause if you see it in a picture, it's a low drag wing, not like the high ricer wings you see on other cars. I love it.
 
you may think its crap by your standards but by the sounds of most people here that is damn good and i like it too so dont downgrade yourself! and why not finish it? just because u not getting any money it doesnt mean u cant do it for fun does it?!?! if i could do that i wouldnt just do it once in a while when someone requests it!!, if i could do that there would be no stopping me id be on my pc for all hours of every day getting constantly moaned at by mother!!!!:lol: :rolleyes:
 
Dude.... SWEET! :D Man that looks the bomb. I seriously love the rear end, the detail is amazing and the low wing looks evil. i wouldn't beat yourself up about it mano, it really works for me, and it looks like it does for everyone else :bowdown: :)
 
You need to understand that I demand perfection for my paid for works. This doesnt look suitable for magazine printing, so Im redoing, make sense? I think so. :)
 
I like it, but the one thing that bothers me is the front fender, that vent-like thing looks bad.
 
It doesn't look like a Skyline and the front is really weird. I can see why you'd want to start over.

And whats so wierd about the front? Its not even finished.....I know it looks like ****, but come on, what is so bad about the front?
 
My comment about the front was directed toward the area kind of in front of the front fender, that's the only area that just looks different to me.

It's 100 x times better than anything I can do. BUT, I think your front intake thing on the side, before the front rim. Look's really bad.
 
imo with that front intake, the black line that runs closest to the wheel (the thick one) is too thick and too dark. If it's shading and not a line then it's just too dark. But the rest is proper bo and it does look like a skyline to me :)
 
I wanna know why you are always telling everyone this about your "professional" work (the work you get paid for) If nothing is clearly "Original" in your latest work.
Things I get paid to make are never traced to save originality.

I'm only saying this because It'd be cool to get paid to trace something. (and yes, i know that you completely made the ad from scratch, but im talking about the car specifically.)
Sorry if you take this as an insult because that is clearly not what i mean by it. ;)
