I'm not premium..but i can see 100 posts per page

I'm Premium and have never went to higher than 20ppp. It suits me well and I'm already used to it. If you want to get your 100ppp, you'll have to be a Premium member. And you don't want to pay for it, you'll stick to 20ppp. I see no reason to complain.
 
20ppp here. Have never used higher (nor lower). Jordan provides the site free of charge and people still feel the need to bitch and moan about things they don't like. You've got a couple options. 1) Leave, and don't let the doorknob hit your ass on the way out. 2) Get over it. 3) Go Premium. 4) Go make your own forum, tell all your friends to join, and give your whole membership 2000 posts per page (which will be fine, as you'll have about 20 members and 7 threads with about three posts each).
 
Option 5: This is serious business. Seriously. This internet forum is PRIVILEGE not a right, guys.

Is it just me, or is that smug sense of premium superiority very prevalent in this thread?

I don't think its a case of premium smugness, I think maybe the case is that premos are coming here and saying they use 20ppp instead of 100ppp because its saying that 100ppp isn't needed and that non premos aren't missing out on the joy of 100ppp when most premos don't either.

I've been keeping one eye on this thread for a couple of days & just keeping quiet whilst everyone has their say about which is better 20 or 100 ppp.

What seems to come up quite often is the loading times of picture threads when using 100ppp, this may be a problem for pc users but I've never had a problem with page loading times when browsing the forum using my mac. The one time I was having difficulty opening pages was something to do with the adverts & not the actual content of the thread itself.

Personally I preferred to use the 100ppp and am disappointed that its gone now, I have been considering purchasing a premium as I've been a member here for a while & do visit here almost every time I connect to the internet. I do appreciate the work that goes into running a site like this and maybe its about time I gave something back to show that appreciation, maybe when GT5 comes out . . . ;)

The only things that will make your Mac open pages faster than my PC is if you have a faster net connection and your cache set higher, which could very well be, but could also very easily be the other way around.

Let's not turn this into a PC vs. Mac thread now, please. :)



And I agree that this thread has done it's duty and can be laid to rest.
