Though likely this thread will be closed, I need to rant about this.

I'm sick of everyone b****ing by their own causes.
The immatureity here is way worse than what it was when I left.
And I know the mods are trying really hard to straighten it out, it just seems to agrivate the problem.
If you're going to be a real b**** when it comes to a thread being closed, or going to drag threads up from the darkest corners of GTP for no reason at all besides being an attention whore, GO AWAY.
We don't need you here.
Everything you're all b****ing about is what you brought upon yourself.
Don't try to be smarter than you really are.
If you arn't a mod, you don't deserve to say who should be banned, what threads should be closed. And you definately don't deserve to poke fun at the mods, because they're all 1 click away from taking you out.

Members like me, and you (assuming you arnt a SM) have basicly no power here.

GTP IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, BLAME YOURSELF AND YOUR FELLOW PEERS!

So are people who can't or won't follow the rules - people who don't respect the community are more annoying. Read what MistaX posted at the top. GT Planet is what you make of it.

If you call it "a power high" because we're doing our jobs, enforcing the rules, and working to improve the general quality of this forum, then I respectfully suggest you find a forum that more suits your attitude and personality.

I think when you hit 42,000 posts you become a Distinguised Member. Somewhere in the range.

The mods do a decent job keeping the forums clean. A few threads are closed prematurely, but oh well.

It's nothing to cry about.
 
All the better. Go flame away. They don't care; in fact, you'll get all the "discussion" you want on any subject. Plus, they allow porn, or at least they used to. Give it a try, I think you'll fit right in.
 
Really? I'm open to all kinds of forums. The more discussion the better. No matter how shallow it is, I like it.

Like now for instance. We're fighting about closing threads on a message board. That makes me laugh for some reason.

Well sence my opinion really seems to matter around here;) :lol: I going to have to throw in my 2 cents. I compeltle disagree with you Wana B,from what I can tell the mods haven't been acting anydiferent lattly,if anything I think they have been really patient with us-yes I said "us"-alleast I can admit it instead of *****ing about how unfair the mods are being.Jordan picks all the mods himself,and if they were being power hungry azzes I don't think that they would be mods for long.Anyway I guess what it all comes down to is that theres a fine line between rudness,and stupidty.So quit acting like abunch of dumbasses.

I think moderators (bad guys! Boo!) have to write a letter of recommendation to Jordan (good guy!) that a certain thread be closed. Then Jordan analyzes it with his group of Super Special Administrators (SSA from here on out) to determine if it should be closed.

Then if Jordan and the SSA (good guys!) determine that the thread be closed, they swoop down from the night sky and close the thread.

To recap, the moderators are bad guys, regular members are the scum of the earth, and Jordan and the SSA are the good guys!

Got it? Good.

Robin probably got tired of me pointing out what a total vulgarian he is, and left. So if you feel a burning need to blame it on someone, blame it on me. Compared to some of his replacements, though, he sounded like a Nobel Prize finalist. I guess I should start being more careful about what I wish for.
