Import/Export (GTA San Andreas)

I've been hearing a lot about the import/export feature. Now, I've finished the story line - but I'm not sure if I did the Custom Fast Track mission (completing this should unlock import/export mode), as it was optional.

Can I still do this mission? If so... where?

Or am I missing something?

Did you complete the driving school? It's available just south of your save point in Doherty in San Fierro. When you've passed all the tests, you can do missions for Wang Autos. Custom's Fast Track is the last mission for Wang Autos, after that you can deliver cars to the Import/Export crane.

And if you've done the Wang missions, you might have missed the message about the import/export stuff. Go to the docks in Easter Basin and find the crane near the drydock. The railway tracks leading into the docks will take you right to it. There's a board just North of the crane with the vehicles listed on it.

yep complete driving school and wang autos missions and it should be unlocked for you. if you need help with the location of cars, they are in the car location guide thread and there are many maps floating around here with the location of cars on them.

The Euros appear under the Sphinx only when it's needed for the Import/Export garage. Other than that it's a very rare car. You might just have to waiti until the time is right and buy it from the I/E crane. Why do you want one so badly anyway?

I had that exact same problem - found the one under the Sphinx and having taken it to the I/E have never seen another one. I have bought one from the I/E just so I can have one but it's not really worth it. I think they should have swapped the Euros with the Infernus - then we really would want to find it!!

On a side note - I've heard that one spwans behind the casino after you reach a crtain point in the game - not sure when this is as I have yet to see one (I still have two missions left - I'm dragging it out hehe)...

The Euros only ever appears in two places, but never at the same time. It will appear under the Sphinx when you haven't completed it for Import/Export. After you have completed it for Import/Export, it will never spawn there again, and the only place you can get it from is Import/Export. They don't drive around, nor do they spawn anywhere else.

The ONLY way to get one for you now, vexd, is by waiting until Friday. I did for mine, and I currently drive one. Just have patience. Leave your game unpaused for a while and do something else until it turns to Friday. I did.

Oh yeah, my bad. I forgot some cars only appear when on the Export list.

Check out this detailed vehicle map at GameFAQs. If it's marked with an "X", it's only available whilst on the list. I guess it'd help if placed in the first post or something...

The ONLY way to get one for you now, vexd, is by waiting until Friday. I did for mine, and I currently drive one. Just have patience. Leave your game unpaused for a while and do something else until it turns to Friday. I did.

It helps if you save repeatedly. That advances the time by 5-7 hours, I don't remember exactly how much.

I was sure that it was 8 in GTA3... and it had gotten less for SA to 6... But it's highly likely I'm wrong... I've not played 3 for about 3 years!!

No, in all GTA games since GTA 3, the time has advance by 6 hours after saving.

I knew there is a map for everything but where is it..?

How many lists are they?

I drive on the Strip in Las Venturas to get one, it happened once but I crashed it...

On the off-topic topic of rare cars: I have never seen a Sentinel since I saw the Export list for the first time! I later used a map to find a spawn point. I don't really care for the crappy car, I just thought. . . .it was rare.

In my experience, it's not rare. I see them quite frequently.

I don't know.... I finally found one in SF but it took a long time to find it....there are alot of 4 door sedans that look similar to it--- I generally look for something a little more exciting when I need some wheels so I could be wrong about them being rare--- I just know I haven't been in one since inport/export.

According to that map, there's a Slamvan that spawns near the airport when it's on the Import/Export list.

And if that fails, they seem to appear around the richer parts of LS and, as you say, around The Strip. I wasn't aware of a parked one when I was doing the list but I'm sure it's worth checking out.
