This post makes no sense in the context of PB's statement...
We'll where ever you are from we clearly get called a sell out for a different reason and ricer, nice I'm almost flattered.
Putting stickers on your car for parts you don't have, that's a part of the definition of ricer. A replica without the parts isn't really a replica, is it?
Their actualy rebuilding it it has black rims now check my new thread later for pictures.Yeah, the things a little ****in' rocket![]()
Today must be the day of unknown but offer your opinion critiques. PB asked what? What was I lol'ed too. Right PB that was the question, ok. Done, how does it not make sense if I answered a question he asked. Now the presidential wise-crack was an analogy, a poor one maybe, should have went with something else but hey I was rooting for the old guy. So pardon me but 'Azuremen', wth do mean it doesn't make sense?
I think if I had a company I liked but didn't have any of their parts I would specifically not put their stickers on my car so as to not bring down their image with an unworthy car.
Oh well, I lol'ed.
As I did too! So like i said above wasn't going to break the bank just to have a 'right' to bear a sticker. I'd imagine all McCain/Palin supporters shot themselves in the face for putting the loser's candidate sticker on their cars to right?
SRinc. So I guess I should have had went with that Spoon engine swap after all instead of facing 'oh no' I'm being called a ricer. Ok point made, whatever. And of course it wasn't 'really a REPLICA', when did Spoon ever release a EG8 sedan??
He is lol'ing at the idea of someone respecting a company but using the image without their products.
You are attempting to replicate the image that Spoon has for their cars, despite a failure to replicate anything else.
Can we all shhut up and post some imports please?....
Sorry sorry, all this talk got me thinking about my old EG...
So, here is a picture of a nice EG-6

I, lol'ed (this is such a stupid and pointless clarification), at yes stickers froma company being on a car with no parts.
Hence 'oh no' im being called a ricer and don't flatter me.
If my desire was to have the visual comparisons to a Spoon car and not the performance aspect of it wtf did I fail at when I got the results I wanted with hmmm? Also there isn't a Spoon EG8 sedan to have had replicated so your barking up all the wrong trees.
Replicating the image of a brand doesn't require them to have the exact car you own. If you black your hood, put stickers on, and emulate their style, you are attempting to replicate their image. As for your car, you failed at being either original in visual style, or following through with go fast parts. In short, you want your car to look faster than it is by using stickers. It is just in poor taste.
Ok, let me tell you something don't for one breathing second insinuate I went out and put stickers on a flipping car to 'go fast' I'm no 16 year old punk with his learners license trying to go street racer. Keep sly remarks like that amongst your peers and personal friends who may be humored by it.
Secondly I didn't 'black' the hood.
The hood came pre-primed an ugly dark gray color. Instead of painting it white we decided to paint it black.
Thirdly nobody around these parts called it un-original. As it was one of a very few EG sedans in the area that didn't look like it was on its way to the junker. No one tuned or played with EG sedans and red wheels as much till I had that one on the road. There's a red-rim sensation going about nowadays, and all of a sudden every white EG has a black bonnet. So in short, wanted a Spoon look, got it. Was I aiming for Spoon power nah not at all, ok. Did I mean to start a craze over EG's, red wheels and black bonnets, no. But you know what it's an achievement when your out and about and you see so many going after the look you did 3 years ago. I like it, I embrace it, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery anyways.
Again though, stickers to go faster, don't be an idiot I plead of you!
Fail. The Stanceworks guys over at BF.c are some of the biggest tools...
Damn... Doesn't surprise me really... BMW seems to be the car maker of choice for every 16 year old in California. E36 especially because its cheap. I would never buy that generation of 3 series because 90% of them have now been infected by 'Toolness'
I'm not judging your Purple M3 Azure, because that's one I actually like 👍
I always here Honda's are little toys, well I guess I'm a kid a heart.

Ok something weird's going on with these pics - and it's probably the lighting, but I almost think the IS is computer generated. the matt finish looks like gloss coming from F3, and the GS isn't far behind.
Or maybe everyone knows they're computer generated and I'm looking like a twazzock by pointing it out.
