Nice, did they use a factory Autech RB26DE or convert a normal RB26DETT do you know?

Wait wait wait wait, wait... When did Jeremy Croiset trade in his CRX for an MR2?

Sweet. But I've got an improvement he should make to his front splitter. I think he should take the vertical part of the splitter and curve it outward so it deflects air around the tire. A gentle curve or angle would be more aerodynamic than just ramming into the tire.

Who? What CRX is this?

If I remember correctly, he had a CRX in Honda Challenge racing...I remember that name from a bunch of YT vids he had...

H4 is for single cam engines that originally came in the car (so no F-Series swaps in Civics and CRXs, for instance.) with very little modifications permitted (exhaust and intake, headwork mostly for reliability reasons) and he was constantly competing with the slower H1 and H2 cars, which allow engine swaps and the likes.

Check the vids on youtube, I'm sure you're gonna enjoy it.

I've had some daydreams at work recently about turning my car into an HC racer. *sigh*

EDIT: Btw, my cousin's D15B sounds almost exactly like that CRX racer. And people say Tyler's car sounds like crap, pah! Straight pipe single cams FTW.

I'd rather finish in last place in my Civic than not finish the first lap in a Spinmaster 3000.

I find that my mr2 has too much rear end grip. I plan too add a rear sway bar before next autox season. Until then I run about 10psi less in the front tires just too cope with it.

better cars in every way than anything honda made and I say that having owned four hondas.

I don't think an MR2 is better than an NSX... or an S2000, or, *gasp*, an ITR. Less powerful, certainly, but just as thrilling and rewarding once at the limit.

Well I was referring to their apparent lack of stability at high speeds, or at least the stereotype. But those big fat tires you have on the back won't help the understeer situation any in the tight stuff.

I agree with Fred about the "better" thing. MR2s just happen to be one of my joke cars, but they're not bad cars. They're just different, and not really my style. Those, ones Fred mentioned, and many other are all equally satisfying to drive for their own reasons. Kind of like how Cesar's Miata is a blast to drive even though it's slower than molasses. For that reason it's not necessarily "better", but it is different in a good way.

This depends what you're comparing it too. An AW11 would probably be better than a civic of the same era IMO despite its weight disadvantage. An SW20 with the gen3 engine has more power/ torque than an S2000. The problem with them is the chassis is older and there was never a perfect combo offered. Hard top turbos were only offered in the states in 91-92 but you couldn't get an LSD until 93. Thats a big part of the reason you don't see more of them being raced in stock classes much. Until the start of next year they have been classed in B stock. Next year they are being bumped down into C stock which might help.

And honestly I'd take an MR2 turbo over a base NSX. A type R/S might be faster but I consider those special models so you can't really compare those too a car that was never offered in a limited edition like that.

I'm talking about my AW11 here. I only have 195/50/15s on it. If my SW20 ever runs again I already have some tires waiting too go on sized 225/45/16 front and 245/45/16 rear. I actually have the new 1993 spec engine/trans in the car and I have the 1993 spec brakes on it I just need too finish up all the mess of wiring and finish up a few minor things and then maybe it'll see some action next spring.

And I love driving miatas. I'd own one if I could afford three cars.

The front of my most favourite sensible car stuck on a 180SX. Odd. Some potential? Maybe.

This is my friend Brian's car. We call him B-wag. I've told a couple of you about him, the guy who works at the sticker place and had the 240 plastered with stickers and whatnot. It looked trashy in a good way, but then again he drifts and trashes this car. He recently got a paint job...
