That's cos it was a 3.1 car; the proper GTZ was a Quad-Four IIRC. So lighter on the nose with better suspension.

I gotcha. By Z I meant the Z26 model. I've heard of the GTZ, but still didn't think it was that fast. Off to do some research and find some videos!

EDIT

Ok, found this from MotorWeek. Sorry to say, but 15.9 isn't that fast, and they really had nothing good to say about everything else. The fact that the Ford Probe GT with 30 less hp and a quicker 0-60 says wonders about its performance.

VAG people?
Never heard of it.

And I like the staggered look whether it's an awd or fwd vehicle, it's the looks that count for some people .
Sometimes being politically correct can be thrown out the door with doing something that bucks the system. I don't see anything wrong with it. :D

VAG = Volkswagen/Audi Group, wich also owns Seat and Skoda.. (I'm a VAG man myself)

It's AWD but we just smack it against the ground, FWD or AWD, doesn't matter.. I love it!

And btw, it's on AIR:tdown: I hate air-ride..

Awesome Alpina B3 Touring a page or two back 👍 Also, Speed Junkie, are there any other pictures of that white MX-6 in the pic you posted? Looks pretty good from here.

Here's an E30 M3 (federal spec).

15.2 1/4. Faster than the Beretta, but outrun by most modern "sporting" vehicles. ON that note, I'd think that it'd still be faster than the Beretta around a track, but, who knows, perhaps that mag got an especially good GTZ.

 That makes me look like crap. No, my Olds with the same engine is running 14.9's @ 94 mph. I figured they were on par, guess not so much.

I love the color on this one.

I think someone was talking about painting winter rims highlighter colors, so here is an example of how to do it.

and two random shots. One is of possibly the coolest BBS paint job I have ever seen and I didn't even know where to put the other one so I decided to pos it here.

Why hasn't that guy got winter tires on his winter wheels?

Methinks he just wanted to use that as an excuse when people asked him about his turquoise wheels.

Why make an excuse? I think they're awesome, though they're not the highlighter blue I've got in mind. Summer wheels, btw. That was me who wanted ridiculous colors.

That Z would be perfect if the flares were higher up on the body and it was packing larger wheels/tires. And less damned rear camber.

I suspect I'm one of very few here who's really not fussed on Zeds at all. They have all the right ingredients for being something I'd like - pretty (if slightly austere) styling, great proportions, a nice engine, a classic interior, the engine driving the right wheels... yet the whole seems to be less than the sum of it's parts.

Someone please post some pictures and perhaps a video or two as to why I should love the Z...

Those Zs above are a perfect example on why I can't see the appeal - not one of them is doing anything different. Wide arches? Check. Watanabes? Check. If there was more variety I'm sure I could get into them but as it is they all look the same. Meh.
