Damn. I switched pages and POW, got punched right in the mouth with a gnarly R32. Rad.

You mean the site that posts everything that all the other sites have posted, except the ones with wheels more interesting than CCWs? Plain and polished gets old after a while and it seems most CCW aficionados lack any imagine whatsoever. They look nice but they're boring.

It's actually a site/blog BY CCW. So whatever cars are posted, they were probably posted there first.

CCW are a nice lightweight (race versions at least) strong wheel. Not to mention they are completely custom, and made in America (and about two hours from my house)

Their designs look great and they work with a lot of cars. People say they're played out, but it's not a trend, they're just a set of wheels that look great in certain applications

Don't get me wrong, I like them, but from a styling standpoint people don't typically get interesting with them. They're like Forgeline to me, hyper-expensive 3-piece wheels for racing or not that are usually bought either black or polished.

Though I do love Forgeline RS wheels because they resemble Work S1s, but RSs are pretty hard to find.

Also, touche on the CCW-only blog lol.

CCWs got boring pretty fast. Everyone started equipping them on any type of car, and they just did not look right at all on most of them. There's a couple of cars that look amazing with them.. Like some of the Supras or the blue Miata posted a couple of pages back.

TE37s will never go out of style because they're designed for motorsports. So many other wheels on the market are simply designed to look good, but racing wheels are cool no matter which way you cut it.

So it's strange to me that some people don't think they look good. It's like no one ever heard of CCW before people in the import community started rocking them. They were designed for motorsport lol

That green car is an old Silvia I'm pretty sure.
If you bothered reading the Speedhunters article (or played GT4 thoroughly) you would know its a first generation Nissan Silvia CSP311. ;)

Oh, and this is so worth posting up...

I didn't get the picture from the SpeedHunters site and I'm almost 100% sure that the car was not in the US GT4. They look great though. I had never seen one until now.

Also this...

" it’s a unique rally car created by Czech spark-plug manufacture Brisk in collaboration with Prodrive...2.0TFSI engine -yes, the same as in the VW Golf GTI and Audi S3 models among others, producing 500Hp @ 7.800 rpm and 600Nm @ 3.700 rpm. Combine that with a weight of just 1.000kg or 2.200 pounds and the 2.7 sec time for the 0 to 100km/h (62mph) that Brisk announces..."

Just lacks some kind of rear aerodynamic device. Keep in mind this is also back in 07 so it's obvious they never made it into the WRC. I also saw some footage of it being driven at the opening photo shoot and it understeered quite a bit but I'll write that off to it being brand new.
