I thought Motortrend was referring to the JDM front end, and PB probably thought that also. Be easy with that "elitist" talk.its an Acura Integra Type R (ERA-2) with JDM front conversion. Not sure if you elitists would consider that as "real"

Not sure if I'd want to take a legit Acura Integra Type R and hack it up to make it into a Honda. It's already rare in itself, I think I'd rather do that to a regular Integra, and probably have less money in it.its an Acura Integra Type R (ERA-2) with JDM front conversion. The bugeyes Type-R were also sold in Europe, left hand drive. I think it's safe to say the guy did a conversion.. I see it's 5-lug and if I remeber correctly the European version were only sold with 5-lug.. (Wich is the same as the US/Can version but you have them with the Acura badge..). The JDM version were sold with 4-lug till 1998. Don't know if it's a B18C4 or C6 but if it's a C6, he did the conversion.
Yeah they made that bugeye front end specially for us.. Can't find any JDM front end Teggie's that are up for sale here..
