Do you mean RS-Watanabe 8-Spokes? :sly:
I actually had posted that, but I found this picture of minilites:

And they look very much the same.

Truthfully, I was afraid of being pwned by you so I didn't mention anything.:nervous:

EDIT: But the spokes look thicker here. Dammit.

Hey, there's a very clean (except for rims) red Pulsar GTi-R on eBay in the midwest.

I'll just go with whatever's seems a good choice when it's time...

I knew this would happen, where did they get the style?

Actually, there's no real knowledge as to who was first. Considering both manufacturers were introducing their similar designs back in the late 60's, it's tough to tell. I can tell you that RS-Watanabe was first in Japan and Mini-lite was first in Europe, though. And, judging by the car, I would say that it's an RS. ;)

If I could find out the production date of the first Mini-lite, I'll let you know who had it first.

And just as an FYI, Perfect Balance, Panasport was introduced in the mid to late 70's in California. ;)

On their website, Minilite claims that "Their famous 8-spoke design spawned a host of imitations." So I'm guessing Minilite was first, but like you said, you'd need a production date to know for sure.

Thanks for the info though, I didn't know that, I just knew they had a similar design so I used them as a pun.

Just to let you know, Drag, Rota, and Konig all claimed the same "design spawning imitations" statement at one point or another. ;) And yet, it's obviously a lie.

I still think the best application for minilites is of course the mini.

This one has been around my area for some time, its been sitting in front of a house now for a month or two, not going anywhere and not for sale. I might ask about it since its not being used. I'd love to own it :)

No need to dump it dude, it's at the perfect height right now. Anything lower would just screw with your suspension geometry and reduce travel.

Also, do you have any better pics of the engine?

allright, so theres lots of JDM cars here, which i absolutelty love, but im gonna introduce you to what im into KDM

KOREAN DOMESTIC MARKET, after all south korea has seoul

Well seen as it's hard to pic a Hyundai as it is... 💡 you're parents doing it, it's odd to see the above pics. Let alone wanting to own a Hyundai for road use. :dopey:

lol. i own a 1999 tiburon that use to be my parents, i sold my riced out civic for it not aware of this at all, then i found a website dedicated to my generation of tiburons. and then all these links to these sweet korean tuning websites. and it got me hooked.

I am a certified VW nut, and i hope to get an aprentice at VW, but still. when do you ever see a hyundai tastefully done?
