As opposed to what in this thread? It's a car with purpose. It was developed for Autocross. The Accord with the huge rims and luggage rack (?!) above is useless in all practical applications and therefore rice.

Awww I think the luggage rack is pretty awesome.

Lol the act alone of modifying this car is rice. I don'd think that spoiler makes downforce at any speeds. The tires look horrible, the sidewall will probably stretch enough on hard turns that the rim will scrape (the same happened to my old Miata that came with some 17in "rimz" and low profile tires) The wheels are also rice. D1 spec? Go to their website, thats all I have to say about that. And I think everyone is missing the two dashboard gauges and blue valve stem caps lol.

*edit* That white accord perfectly fits my description of a cool car to have to just daily drive, not to say i dont daily drive my car but when people have extra money they spend it :). Maybe minus the extreme ride height.

Well I'm sorry you've never had the pleasures of having a one night stand, or even intercourse outside of a relationship as it can sometimes be quite good (from what I remember).
The line is actually from a movie, but yes, I have had to do it on many occassions. Too much info? Probably, but I'm known for it and technically you did ask me how I knew what weiner smells like. Hopefully you've learned not to ask silly questions if you didn't want to know the answer. A lot happened during my late teens/young adult stage in life, much of it makes for great story telling at work and online. Do I regret any of it? Some, but I'd do it all again in a heart beat.
Well I'm glad to hear that in your world I'm considered a man as I have a house, wife and kids, pay my bills, work hard and help my neighbours as much as possible. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I fit your standards.

Have to explain yourself again eh? Guy, you're an ass in my book already so theirs not much you can say thats worth the time of comprehending, nor will I continue to egg you on as you embarrass yourself. As Azuremen has already stated, its a childish term and does not comply to the terms and regulations with this thread. You responded to a sarcastic statement that was not meant to be responded to, or taken seriously, and you made a fool of yourself. Its simple as that. This is old news, like yesterdays, let it go.

How is it dangerous? You just change your driving style if you have a lowered vehicle.

Lol, theirs so much more to it than that.

Uhhh, I've had a lowered vehicle, I know what to do. You change your driving style and you'll be fine. But since you know more than I, care to fill me in instead of making a general "you're wrong" statement?

Don't get so butt hurt over nothing. No ones saying you're wrong.
I was referring to the functionality of having a slammed car, or lack there of. Theirs a big difference from having a lowered car and a slammed one.
Some people need to take the time to understand a statement for what it is before jumping the gun and getting all offended.

My truck was fairly slammed, it has a 7 inch drop on it. It was as low of a static drop as I could do.

And perhaps it's the way you present yourself? Obviously more than just I have a problem with you. Whatever, you're just going on my ignore list so that way I don't have to be bothered by you.

There are a lot of people in here who need to seriously, seriously grow up. The AUP mentions something about using the word "gay" in a negative way, so to put it simply - don't do it. And whoever was talking about your sex life - none of us are interested, so keep it to yourself and your immature chums. You have sex, big deal. So does the rest of the world.

Apologies if any are reposts. I have so many Miata photos on my PC now that I'm forgetting where I got them all from...

Joeys right, driving a car thats slammed means just tweeking your driving style. Everything is going to be different (traction, turn radius, ride, etc) and you just have to change according to the limits of the car. Functionality goes out the window as soon as you decide to slam anything.

I also agree with homeforsummer. You people seriously need to stop arguing here. There are some actual things I want to read but i just scroll down since I think there's just more of the same argument. Anyways, IS THAT A 4WD integra?!?!:drool:👍

If you can't call Joey's old Blazer slammed... You need glasses.

Jesus Christ you guys bitch and moan like a married couple these days haha. I say if you don't like a certain car/picture on here you ignore it and go abouts with your day because not everyone here has the same opinion as you.

To continue on with this thread, I think I'll just leave this here.....

Honest question, and I don't mean to ruffle any feathers...

exactly how much suspension travel does a slammed car with the tires nearly rubbing the fenders have? and if it's more than an inch, how does it keep from removing said fenders and preventing blowouts?

Anyways, IS THAT A 4WD integra?!?! :drool::drool:👍[/SIZE]

Nope, its standard FF if can remember correctly. Ill try to find the original thread for you I believe was on HT it. I can't quite remember what modifications had been done to it but I do remember it being a really impressive thread.

If you can't call Joey's old Blazer slammed... You need glasses.

I've never seen it, and it has nothing to do with anything I've stated. I never said it wasn't slammed nor did I know it exist.
I don't see the point of this statement.

He doesn't need glasses... He already knows ever aspect of his Blazer without ever looking at it.

Thanks for chipping in your two cents. Its apparent you know nothing about me but I see it was important for you to take an immature shot instead of contributing something useful to the thread.

Kill the nonsense, if you can't stay on topic keep your mouth shut. Theirs only 4-5 of us thats trying to keep the thread on topic and its frustrating.

Be careful, I was coming across a point similar to this and not only did I ruffle feathers, I plucked some chickens...

Anyways, these are the pics I was trying to upload earlier before Photobucket started crashing on me.

It looks familiar...

Actually, Joey, it can be. By overly lowering and dampening a vehicle, you reduce travel distances on the wheels, and thus can lose contact on less than perfect surfaces. Which means reduced traction by a far margin, and less predictable dynamics.

~sex details to prove "manly"

Azuremen - Jesus wants his cross back so get down off it already.

You are officially the oldest 16 year old I've seen in a while. Bravo. And just so you know, I'm hardly a martyr are the moment, so you may want to change your word usage. Unless you meant to imply I'm religious, which I'm not.

So, double fail.

Like I said earlier, overly lowering a car creates an array of complications in vehicle dynamics. Beyond just running the risk of losing your lip trying to get into the McD's parking lot.

Unlikely. With an LSD and decent rear sway, getting an FWD sideways while keeping speed up is pretty straight forward on dirt. FWD classes are fairly competitive, more so than RWD often.

Ya I suppose you are right, my Blazer used to bounce all over the place after it was dropped. I just changed my driving style though. I not only took it easy on driveways but also attempted to avoid all bumps and slowed down on bumpy roads. However, even then I had some "holy --" moments.

I'm saying you come in with a "hollier-than-thou" attitude. This whole thing ended a long time ago when he had nothing to come back with other than a pointed finger and a "your looking like a fool" remark with a name calling along with it. I've learned the signs of someone who has nothing to fall back on during an arguement, and I've also learned that its better to walk away then to frustrate them more.

I've dropped it, its time for others too as well. 6 comments later and people are still bringing it up? The internet isn't serious business, so keep your 2 cents for the wishing well and just get back to the topic. I'm done with it and won't be responding to anymore messages, everyone else should do the same.

Did I say anything about losing your lip at all? No, in fact I didn't mention the complications of slamming your car brings with trying to enter driveways, go over speed bumps/pot holes, etc. I mentioned traction, ride quality and other issues with driveability on city streets/highways. Thanks for repeating what I actually said though, helps highlight the whole point of my post.

I might have had I know what it was before three seconds ago when I googled it. They look pretty good but I think I still prefer the chrome mirror option. Really what I need are just some new OEM ones as the current ones are a bit battered.

Found it

Right, just tweaking your driving style will compensate for the reduction of braking in an emergency situation, or unpredictable behavior of you have to make an emergency maneuver.

Yes, you can drive a slammed car. You can also drive a car on bald tires or blown shocks or with no head lights, and just "tweak" your driving style.
