Just as a note, it's getting really tiring reading people sniping at others.
Please, for the sake of everyone else who doesn't want to sift through endless bitching, just stick to the topic and post some awesome cars like normal.

Somethings aren't worth explaining to people Azuremen.
But on another note, congrats Honda! for R & D your own turbine engine.
I know its not exactly an Import because its manufactured in North Carolina but c'mon not everyone can say their auto marque manufacturers jets also :sly:

check out the SI blue!

The power of dreams, eh.

Right, just tweaking your driving style will compensate for the reduction of braking in an emergency situation, or unpredictable behavior of you have to make an emergency maneuver.

Yes, you can drive a slammed car. You can also drive a car on bald tires or blown shocks or with no head lights, and just "tweak" your driving style.

Honestly I don't even know what the point of your post was, but I'll solidify my point further.

Yes, you "tweak" your driving style. You make the changes thats needed in the way you drive to compensate for the conditions of the road and environment around you. You brake sooner, steer to miss certain objects you normally wouldn't, or slow down more for certain turns. And yes, you can drive with blown shocks and no head lights, I've done it as well as others by modifying your driving technique for the given conditions. By making slight changes to the way you drive, you can control a slammed car on any given street.

tweak
3. to make a minor adjustment to: to tweak a computer program.

We're not talking major changes like driving backwards and on your head, its just minor changes in the way you drive, so yes, tweak.

Well I'm getting pretty tired of seeing people being so damn (if I may express myself in that manner) disrespectful to all cars not up to their own tastes, throwing 'questionable' around like they're the end all be all judges to car modifying... If people could start not bothering to comment on every car they don't like this thread would've been on topic..

No wonder the world's at war huh... :)

If you're slammed, you'd be driving slower and avoid the emergency situation all together.

Seen the size of the tyres on that S2k? I'm sure it has no problem with stopping.

This is delicious.

The RS4 conver. is awesome! Don't really like the colour though.I like the VW,but the wheels as much.

I'm going to put out a request for some uber Alfas. I'm after mainly the 60s and 70s Giulias and such, and I can't find too many pictures or examples of fettled ones on the interwebz, so think of this as a shout out for some. 👍

Not getting into whether slammed cars are unsafe or not, but there's no way in hell you can avoid all emergency situations by driving slower. As the phrase goes, 🤬 happens.

On Topic:

In this state, it ran a 9.69@142mph. It made about 680 hp atw @36psi.

Then the owner got serious.

This car is just getting into the swing of things, it's already run a 9.52@159mph, but the owner is still getting used to it, and "the data showed that Dave had been out of the throttle at the top of 1st gear for 0.4 seconds, which meant the big turbo took almost another full second to get back to full boost!" There's a bit of potential left yet.

LOL LAG etc etc. But this is at 42psi at 8000 rpm due to ECU gremlins, the car is built to run through to 10k rpm. Enough power, I'd say.

Bonus pic of the engine from the old STM Evo 3, DOCILE. Used to hold the record for the fastest Evo with a 8.23@179.5mph

Because you clearly can't get the point.

Your tweak is basically a fix for making something worse. Driving with a shock reduces the control of the car.

Basically, I was saying it isn't safe. Sorry I didn't string them all together for you, I'll remember that next time I explain something with analogies.

AWESOME - Especially the Supers. :D

Post full of win 👍

Cheers for that - and remember this thread please if you dig more up :D.

Oh my, I'm going to need a minute. Do want!

Agreed. All of those Suds are amazing. Love this picture too:

Two of my favourite classics in one shot!

I notice a lot of photos from Auto Italia's Michael Ward up there - he has an awesome job and always takes stunning car photos. No fannying around with weird techniques or stupid angles, just gorgeous shots of amazing cars.

That 155 racer is more epic than most of the pages in this thread combined. More please!

Yea its one of my favorite touring cars, believe it or not my first time ever seeing it was a lexan body in a RC car magazine lol.

I'm searching for more pics of the real deal right now.
