It ran a couple of 11.9s with a misfire issue, so the owner didn't want to risk blowing anything up by running it any more. It's a pretty solid car, forged 2.3 stroker, Kelford 272s, GT3040 turbo, Link G4, about 400 hp atw on it's run in tune, after sorting the misfire he's going for 500 hp once it's run in. Should be good for mid to low 11s.

The guy who took out C1, Mike with the E&H Mirage is also one of the club guys.

Are you up in Auckland, or did you just make the trip up for night speed?

PP can be useful, but using it to modify how the car looks is totally lame.

I think the editing done on those particular pictures suck.

Your car's nice though.

Continuing the M3....

Would love to see this same car on CSL-like rims = dream car.

Had to quote Mclaren's post for the awesomeness. Been using some time to dig it up, but I think it's worth a re-post.

Probably not to everyone's taste but I really like this:

That looks fantastic. The color combo is great along with coordinating the little tiny stickers to the wheels, and I love the subtle projector conversion. I think the HFP kit is tied with the Type-R body for subtle sportiness wihtout looking ridiculous. It's clean.

I completely agree Keef.
The Honda is perfection in it's style and layout.
Nicely done and would consider it a benchmark for all to follow in tasteful modifications.

It has recently been brought to the attention of the moderators that the website Motormavens.com may be associated with the distribution of malware. We currently have no way of verifying this, but I have gone through the thread and removed any images watermarked with the logo of the Motormavens website, and I hope the problem has been rectified. Please be very careful when posting images from other websites; I speak from experience when I say that malware can be a very challenging and potentially dangerous problem (I was infected with a browser hijacker that made the internet nigh on unuseable because it kept re-routing the browser). It goes without saying, but do not link to websites that you do not trust. Anyone who has visited the Motormavens website might want to run a diagnostic just to be sure they are not infected.

I'm all for stanced out cars, but for some reason I can't stand the low offset bandwagon on Civics. There's nothing in particular wrong, but subconsciously it's a massive "DO NOT WANT" when I see them.

I think Civics only look good when they look track prepped. Or at least "grip" prepped.

Civics and Subarus. Everything else I don't seem to mind the fitment thing on, and I'm not sure why. Flush is fine, it just has to be meaty tire flush, not camber and stretch flush.

I've never had a problem with any sort of virus or malware from any website, to be honest. What are the reasons for this? What happened? Frustrating lack of information is frustrating. As far as I can tell, Motormavens is perfectly legitimate and I see no reason not to link from there. I trust their operation just as I do Speedhunters or Stanceworks or the obscure Japanese blogs, so are you banning hotlinks from Motormavens?

hahaha, that MKI Golf is the most WTF thing I've seen in quite a time. The R31, on the other side, is amazing.

I'm in Auckland. Were you there? I was down with some friends, supporting an aquaintance. The sole AW11 MR2 there, it was competing in 2WD turbo. It had a gen 2 3SGTE with a CT20b I think, he ran a quickest time of 13.1 and got second in class behind a big singled, nitroused JZA80 on slicks. Funny you say about a misfire and saving the engine, the MR2 suffered from a misfire and cracked the ring lands on a couple of pistons. New engine time.

Nah, I normally work Friday nights, and for some reason no one wants to swap shifts those nights. Heard all about it from the club guys though, but we seem a lot more interested in C1 haha.

Can't be that many 3SGTE Aw11s rolling around. It's not the faster than jesus one is it?

Thank you for doing so, that M3 is awesome and the photography for it amazing.

I remember when it was first posted and I was just
