OOOOOOOOOK
At LAST I went trough ALL the pages in this stupidly big but at the same time stoopidly cool thread, and now, I've got something to tell.
You see, I am a true car fan, but NEVER liked japanese imports... in part because they dont involve fat power (I am a car fan, but above all, a hot rodder, so that might give a clue to what i call fat power...) and in part because... well, all I knew and had seen about hondas, toyotas, mazdas and the damned such was PURE, STUPID, AWFUL RICE. In mexico, is the very same. neon lights, stupid body kits, splats of paint and the such. oh, of course, stupid wings. so, with that in my little world, I always tought of imports as crap. that was about a year and a half ago. then I got GT3 and got a slite taste at some of the cool imports you can have... that, and, well, my car culture had grown largely at that time. well so, I began noticing the cool powerful imports bt never gave it the attention they deserved. oh, then came this forum, wich I joined about a month ago. and then this thread. at the begining, it was all rice, and that reinforced what I tought about these things. Then, this one dude Punk Rock came and posted a ****ingly cool pic of an NSX wearing black rims. then a white silvia, then a Skyline. WHOA! what's happening here? I mean, those dont have stupid paint. that thing doesnt even have a wing. well, they are cool imports, after all. then, a Honda civic dropped by. that's not a cool import. that sucks. But it looked quite cool with the black rims and absolutely nothing more. So I began going trought the thread. And as I plan to try out my drawing abilities with local car mags, and as the import tunning thing is big rite now I decided to give it a try. now, 117 pages later, I've learned a LOT about imports, tunners, and stuff that didn't even interested me three weeks ago. I now know what the hell the damned hated rice is, and how about any import car SHOULD look. anyhow, I wanted to thank everyone that posted pics in here, but above all Punk Rock, because his pics just scream GOOD TASTE... and power too. because of his pics I learned a LOT about import styling and the such. THANKS MAN. as for anyone in here that posted pics, good or bad, cool or crap, thanks. you showed me in wich way to go or not to go to avoid the DAMNED rice I hate so very much. I learned a LOT in these 117 pages, and I got a helluvalot pics too, wich will serve as reference material if my automotive artist career is to start.
thank you for growing interest in me in this part of the automotive hobby and point me in the right direction. It was a good experience. keep all those pics coming, right? I promise I'll keep learning.
