i still cant beleive that is front wheel drive!

Link says it's an S4, so it's 4wd... :p Looks pretty badass, but S4s are heavy.

And very clean Evo VIII with TEIN suspension and Volks, shame about the rear lights ,though.:D

believe it or not, those rear lights are standard/optional from mitsu/ralliart.
i guess even non-toyota manufacturers are putting clear rears on their cars.

ok all of these cars looks like rice rockets...even though they're turbo'd or just have a aluminum radiator to make it look like its turbo'd they still look like rice rockets....a nice cheap import that everyone hates would be a 92-95 civic hatchback w/ mugen lip, carbon duckbill wing, carbon hood, and mugen mf8 rims...that is nice already heres a forum where you can see some owners who have their car like the setup i said - www.honda-tech.com

which cars?
well they -do- kinda fit the description.. they're Japanese (rice) and they're fast (rockets) :] (the rex and the evo)

in any case they'll beat those riced up civics easily anyway.. 0-100 similar to that of a gtr.. :p

IIRC, A Viper isn't an import. Neither is a navigator. Also, did it need to take two posts for one image?

*cough*

*cough*

if so.. then why are civics, integras (+rsx), etc in this thread? they are practically domestic marketed cars in all countries.

which still confuses me as to the US definition of an 'import'

IMO acura is not an import by DEFINTION because honda started in the us as its luxury division if not mistaken, but i still consider it an import cause it was started by honda, same as toyota and lexus, and nissan and infinity

even then.. now that all those cars by those manufacturers are _readily available_ then it shouldn't be considered imports.

that includes euro cars too.

in aust, an import is generically something that isn't readily sold here. examples being skylines, supras, soarers, corvettes, camaros, etc.

what isn't considered an import are cars like 206's, integras, neons, civics, cherokees, amg's, porsches, etc.

i'm guessing that anything of non-US origin is considered an import.. does that include bmw's and benz's?

even then.. i'm not too sure about the public perception on whether low volume imports are still categorised as 'imports'.
an example being the viper, evos and possibly a few others which i can't remember atm...

does some1 actually have a 'proper' definition of wat a US 'import' is considered to be? it just stumps me that hondas are considered imports when they're clearly not.

Yeah, most WRX guys with FMICs do that. Reduces drag and creates a high-pressure area there that sucks in cool air.

Whoever said you needed an aftermarket bumper to fit a huge ass intercooler was wrong. All you need is a Sawzall. Pretty wicked LS/VTEC dragger in Hawaii, obviously being displayed for show circumstances, hence the ridiculous ride height/front wheel camber. As far as i can remember, it's a 10 second car on slicks...
