Subaru Impreza or Nissan Skyline

Was just made privy to the fact that in Japan cars are limited at 276HP, thus I'll give drag to the Skyline. And look at that, the Skyline wins. Be glad I wasn't around for the one about the Evolution vs the "Imprezza"

OK, I know this poll is over, but after recent posts I need to clear something up I think.

Nissan Skyline vs. Subaru Impreza

Not R34 GTR vs. MY04 STi WRX.

Not even GTR vs. STi or WRX.

Skyline vs. Impreza.

And for those who say they can drift an Impreza, we are talking about dry tarmac here right? And a drift is not a controlled 4 wheel slide, nor even a power slide. A drift is looooong, possibly involves linking two corners or more. And stock too. There's an S bend at the end of my street I'd like to see someone drift in an Impreza through - I'd shake that man's hand...

I feel this poll has been tainted, but ever mind. It was a close fight and I look forward to the next one. These threads are actually quite fun... :)

Never seen the Cosworth escort with 550HP go around a track have you Chris? lol that thing will do a long drift just fine. I gaurentee if I spent a day learning the dynamics of the AWD drive train of the WRX/STi I could drift the car just fine. I've slid around a bit in a base 01 WRX and was able to break the rear loose, if you power into the corner and iniate a slide with the e-break (call this cheating if you want but most professional drifters even use the e-break) before entering the drift (a true drift begins the slide before entering the turn) and continue to power through doing any adjustmants you must and you will have yourself an AWD drift. I've been in my brothers old Talon TSi AWD while it's drifting around a HUGE corner and I can tell you for a fact that it is possible in AWD.

Modded don't count (well not for this poll IMO) and with that WRX what sort of speed and angle are you talking about. Huge entry speeds 140kph+ (85-90mph) and full counter-steer...

Also, no probs with the E-Brake - that perfectly legit IMO.

Entry speed depends on the corner, like a 70 degree nice sweeping turn I'd say would say entry speed of about 75-85mph depending on how the tires were and the condition of the road or track.

Skyline is build on a RWD based 4wd system, Impreza is built on a fwd based system. Nuff said. Skyline has the engine round the proper way so it wins by default.

Just for the record, the Impreza has it's engine round the proper way as well.

I pick Skyline since the game has lots of them to choose from...
But seriously I pick the Skyline because of the Pacecar...

Skyline and the WRX are my two favorite cars in the game. And, there are a LOT of different types of WRX's, you just gotta open your eyes.
