Um, that would cost them a LOT more money, especially when most people want online play. Also you don't need a good computer to play GT4 online, just a good broadband conncetion.

Sorry, meant no offense, just puzzled me why you needed a PC for GT4 online play.

sorry what i meant to say was a good connetion i dont have the mony for brand band bo ho

I want to see some TIRES get DIRTY, instead of seeing them clean after thousands of miles, espically in rally. That would be a nice touch. -=]

what would be great is to see mud and dirt getting on ur car then

they also need to do something about riding along the side of the gaurd rail bc alot of people cheat and its boring so if u do that ur car show like stall or sumthing dont you guys think?

am i the only one who really doesn't care about playing GT4 online, it doesn't matter to me, i'd rather have them do other thing to tweak the game, i couldn't care less about the online content!:banghead:

don't be offended, this is just my opinion:rolleyes:

I am also one that doesnt give a crap about online

i would also rather them tweak the game

Yeah same as. I know the online mode means a lot to a lot of people, but i really couldn't care less. No offence meant in any way, but i have enough friends to play multiplayer if i really want to, but 99% of the time, i prefer GT single player mode. I'll stick in Burnout, or bust out my N64 if i want classic Goldeneye multiplayer, doesn't bother me. I'd rather have the game asap and a multiplay to follow... just my thoughts.

Your perfectley entitled to that view but from my point of view where I will race online and from Sony's point of view the online is a must have.

Well, I don't care what any of you people say. I am sticking to my delusions that GT4 will be here in January, that it will have a great online component, and that come January, all of this doom and gloom pessimism seen here on the boards will seem humorous indeed.

Just release GT4 without online now
Then release GT Online in about a year once they've worked it all out (if it's even possible). Or else just leave online for GT5 when the PS3 will be more powerful and many more people will have broadband.
We want to play, and most will spend most of their time not online. Don't make us wait another year PD :irked:

I used to be a long-time subscriber to Motor City Online before it unfortunately shut down. Awesome game, deep deep deep customization, but the actual racing... not all that great. To have a half-decent race, all 4 people's pings must range in the 90-160 ms area. That was far and few between on there. I've had my share of awesome races in the game, but if you were closing in on 2 other cars, they would start to stutter and not move smoothly. Very upsetting. The games physics were no match to Gran Turismos obviously, but good enough to keep me a daily player.

EDIT: I wish Gran Turismo was as easy to set up a LAN for as Halo is. And even if it was, because you can't modify your cars, its useless as tits on a bull.

I agree fully, i wish they would come out with a tuneing system in gt4 like they had in that game, it was awsome, i loved it, engine swaps stuff like that i really wis that game i had more fun bying cars and tuning them then i did raceing sometimes.............:(
I miss that game.lol:)
