Yes, the Vette would win if the drivers where of the same experience. You have to remember that the Chevelle is alot heavier than the Vette, less aerodynamic, and is running on 70's radials, which arent as good as the modern tires the Vette is running. There both badss cars though, and I wouldnt mind owning either of them ...
