Here are two .avi files for your downloading pleasure. These were taken from my NASA track day on August 22, 2004 at Sears Point (it'll always be Sears Point to me). I drove in 3 of my 4 sessions that day. My last session got cut out because my throttle cable broke. I fixed it at the track before my 4th session went out, but I also had to drive the car home, so I didn't want to push my luck. This was in my daily driven but modified 1983 Rabbit GTi.

This was my first day on track and I passed more cars than passed me. That's not really fair though, as I had a lot of go-kart experience before then. You'll hear me mention "Speedring." It was an indoor karting facility in Santa Clara, CA that I worked for. A benefit of that job was that I could jump in a kart and drive whenever I wanted.
My quote of, "The Volvo's timid!" refers to the fact that the driver was in a passing zone, could have made the pass, but for whatever reason did not.
