In-car view: TOO DARK!!

Oh yes, this is SO annoying. I'll never understand this obsession with "realism" when it comes this sort of thing because "well the inside of the car is dark so we have to properly simulate your eyes adjusting to bright light"... man it's a videogame, I want to be able to see the road without my screen darkening itself!! And in real life when I'm outside and it's bright everything doesn't become darker or harder to see when I get into my car! ugh I love driving in the interior view but the way the game makes it darker in there just irritates me sooo bad

It would be a little more tolerable if you could adjust a brightness slider but if you adjust the EV settings it acts like a camera (and not my eyes ) by blowing up bright spots (like the sky) and makes things super over exposed and ugly. If you're going to simulate human eyes then do that but don't simulate both human eyes and cameras because they both work very differently. (And don't get me started on lens flares :D )

Realism should be used only to enhance the game or experience, This excuse people use that its too simulate your eyes is nonsense, Its just PD being PD again and not doing a good job in a specific area. In real life your pupils open up when it gets dark but when it gets dark in the game it make no difference to your eyes as you can still see the tv. I will never understand why people cant accept that flaws are there and GT is not your little brother you have to protect,

You cant even enjoy the details in the cockpit because its so dark, Also if you drive in cockpit view of a car that has no rear view window such as a racing car for example and use look behind view you will see it go dark despite that its no longer simulating the human eye (yea right simulating the eye whatever next?), Clear proof its just PD's lack of compatence or whatever you want to call it, Just lame tbh

EDIT: Also no other game seams to have this problem nor needs people to make excuses for it

There's one, Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends, sometimes you can't even see where you're going. Only like 10 people bought that game though, so yeah...

LOL.. yeah and people thing pCars is going to be our salvation.

(Slightly mad Studios-- Shift, Shift2, Ferrari Legends, pCars).. All have terrible physics and other huge problems.

Yeah physics are definitely not their strenght, Shift was fun though and Shift 2 came out of the box broken (like GT6) but after a few patches and some tweaking it became a good and enjoyable game. TDFRL is just awful, all the good stuff from the Shift series was gone, typical lag but worse than ever and physics are probably worse than Shift 1.

Broken game and since nobody bought aside from me, it remains broken.
