Oh yes, this is SO annoying. I'll never understand this obsession with "realism" when it comes this sort of thing because "well the inside of the car is dark so we have to properly simulate your eyes adjusting to bright light"... man it's a videogame, I want to be able to see the road without my screen darkening itself!! And in real life when I'm outside and it's bright everything doesn't become darker or harder to see when I get into my car!
ugh I love driving in the interior view but the way the game makes it darker in there just irritates me sooo bad
It would be a little more tolerable if you could adjust a brightness slider but if you adjust the EV settings it acts like a camera (and not my eyes
) by blowing up bright spots (like the sky) and makes things super over exposed and ugly. If you're going to simulate human eyes then do that but don't simulate both human eyes and cameras because they both work very differently. (And don't get me started on lens flares
)
