Are you?

Yes. I don't really let trivial things bother me.

Are you happy?

I just quit my new (been there for about a month and half) job yesterday, I despised it. So I'm happy again.

Being indifferent is a superb way of being an overall happy person, I would agree.

:D < This is me

<-- Me.

It's 50 degrees outside, and I'm going to play basketball. I'm slightly crazy.

No.

I am almost never happy, and when I am happy it is ususally for all the wrong reasons.

I am always sad, lonely, depressed, and very angry. I try to combat it by going out and buying stuff, but that only buys momentary happiness and it doesn't really lift my mood that much anyway.

I'm sick of my life, I am sick of my existance, everyday I wish I could just wipe it all away and start new, start somewhere else with a new family, a new face, just a completely new life.

Always angry, always mean, I have secluded myself and cut off pretty much all contact from the outside world. I don't really leave my house, why would I? People are out there, and people make me scared, people make me sad, people make me angry.

Friends? Gone. Family? Gone. Gone, gone, gone, everything that can be good about life feels so lost to me. Atleast I am breathing people say... but what good is breathing when you do not enjoy breathing?

I hate being like this. I wish I could be like everyone else, but I can't force myself to put on a smile show the world a fake me.

People disgust me. Liars, cheaters, backstabbers, everyone else is out to hurt everyone else it seems. Love, kindness, friendship, these are all things I now not know. If you are lucky enough to have them in your life than I truly envy you.

It's a game. Life is only a game. It is a game I can not win at. No matter how hard I try or what I do I can never even get a head even a little tiny bit.

Happiness? I hardly remember that state.
Depression? Welcome to that state. Population: Me.

Well, if you weren't such a sexually obsessed person, you might have more to live for.

Just a suggestion.

Yes, in general I am a happy person.

I'm really not. Trust me on that.

im lonely and unloved. And my hormones are raging and they have nowhere to go. That and 911_Carrera keeps taking the piss out of me, and I keep hitting him.

No, not really.

I've been told that I don't seem that happy a lot but I think it's just things about daily life that get in the way of being happy all the time. I do have pockets of being happy but they not seem to out weigh the "sad" things. I'd like to know what exactly the definition of being happy is though. They say money or material things do but it's not true. On the other hand when I'm doing stuff like Hockey(Ice or Roller), biking, or driving and playing GT I feel really happy and enjoy doing those things. Just the mere feeling of seeing a great car or the feeling of going fast is enough to make me happy as well.

I'm happy.

I'm enjoying my senior year of high-school, I've made tons of friends this year, and had a great time. I'm about to go off to college next year and I have more great times ahead of me.

I figure I'm in the best part of my life right now, so I don't let the little things get me down. I'm gonna enjoy it while I still can.

Of course! I've got over 240 desktop images, and I'm listening to TMBG's Dead, so I'm happy. Me --> :dopey:

Seriously though, I have no reason to be truly unhappy... I have purpose in my life, as well as the niceties known as friends, Apple Computer Inc., the Internet, a reasonably warm house, and John and John singing for me.

I must say though that your signature's lack of symmetry is causing my happiness to tumble (the first two forward slashes being underlined, but the last two aren't).

:irked: <-- IRKED!

I can be happy and kind but on Thursday I got pissed off so I squirted people with acid in science. It was rather fun. It's usually at the end of the week that I feel really annoyed and it takes me to Sunday night to recover but then Monday hits me. It’s not fair.

If I've had a good week I'd be pottering away drawing some minimalistic swirls in my head. Right now I'm not to happy I have a swollen throat, snotty nose, damn hax0rs kept on beating me at Counter-Strike and homework to do.

Yea I'm happy

Yes, I am happy most of the time. I don't let anything get on my nerves, and I try not to worry about things, though it can be hard. I always try to have a good mood about things, though.

Yes I'm happy. I didn't used to be. Some of the unhappy posts above used to be me. But like Klos, I don't get upset by the small stuff anymore, and it's almost all small stuff. If you let that get to you, you will almost always be upset. Over time that can really wear you down and lead to depression.

For me it all boils down to two things, gratitude and humility. I'm grateful to be healthy, to have a family of my own, a house to live in, a decent job, etc. All the basics are covered, and more. I am joyfull everyday because of my son, Alex. It would be difficult to describe the happiness his smile gives me, and the way he has taught me to love. I am humbled by knowing it can all be gone in an instant. I talk to people who have lost everything all the time, and I know how it can just sneak up on you in an instant. But not me. Not yet. And I am grateful and humbled by my comfort and happiness.

It took me years to get to this point. Throughout most of my twenties I was a miserable bastard, floating and lost, without purpose. But about five years ago something clicked and changes started to happen.

I feel unhappy on occasion. It's usually due to stress or frustration and is over in a day or less.

Those who aren't gratefull are never satisfied. Those who are not humble are humiliated.

Ever since junior year in high school, Ive been happy. Their have been some things I whish I could change. Such as my job. But all and all my life has been level or above that since then. I got my girlfriend. She keeps me happy. And my friends. Their good too.

Current mood at this time: :)

Heck, yes. There's so much to be happy about! Plenty to be disappointed or confused about, too, but in general, life sure beats the pants off of the only alternative...

With two silly boys that keep me busting up with laughter every day, oh hell yeah, I'm happy. 👍 I hate to think what my life will be like when they finally leave home. Probably bug them for some grandkids. :D

If I feel sad or blue, I'll either play with my kids, or play my guitar for a couple of hours, and then I'm fine. I'll think about what I have, and about what is needed of me, and I just start to feel better.

I am extremely happy at this point in my life. My senior year of high school has been the best one so far. I've made more friends this year and am doing well in most of my classes.

I am a verry disturbed person.

Am I happy?

Meh, not really.

Am I happy?

Generally. I'm too stretched at work at the moment, but otherwise, things are quite peachy.
