This sounds like a good idea. Swapping between drivers like the real thing. It could even be real time but change between yourself and your nominated b spec drivers.

Endurence is so much fun. I'm doing 9h tsukuba and I just love going trough traffic.

I think endurance racing is the thing that GT should concentrate on. (And I think Kaz wants to)

The new cockpit view of my favorite GT car of all the time -the Toyota-7- has totally re-ignited my love for GT5.
The open cockpit cars have pretty nice cockpit views now, tried out the FGT, the Toyota 7 and the Suzuki concept car - nice. :)

I hope so! I would love to see a return of the Special Stage endurance races, they were so much fun back in GT2.

When it's all said and done, I'll put more time into GT5 then GT4, and that's saying something!
I think I easily put two years playtime into GT4. I wouldn't doubt that I'll do three or more in GT5, unless GT6 comes out next year, which is highly doubtful.

I have Forza 4 in the box next to me, unplayed, and, uhm... I'm about to fire up GT5 again.

It's amazing isn't it? After all, I nearly threw down the cash for a 360 and Forza 4 just 3 days ago...and I don't see it happening any time soon now.

I'm just in love with this new GT-R and doing the 4 hour Enduro around the Nurb, 58 mins left and I will take care of it after Uni! Started it on Tuesday and will finish today! 👍

Dont make me cancel my preorder for forza 4

Cant wait to get fm4 but I´m sure I will be back to gt5 very quick...

I have a DFGT, the point is the feel was still better with a pad. Nobody drives Cars with our fake little steering wheels either, it's purely to make the game more fun. :D

I use a G25 and can't really feel all that much difference in the physics. So PD spent time making it feel better with a pad. I would prefer it if PD spent less time with Fudge phsyics...because anything they do to make the DS3 feel better can only be fudged.

Fake little steering wheel is still a billion times more realistic than using a DS3

Although PS3 supports pretty much all the wheels out there. Majority of player use DS3. The tweaked physics obviously has impact on DS3 as well

I'm just questioning the logic that making the physics feel better on a DS3 has any bearing on the "reality" of the physics. That's the main thing that PD have done right is get the feel right with wheels. I personally don't want them tweaking the physics to improve things for the pad users, because that WILL diminish the reality of the phsyics. UNLESS of course the better feeling with the pad is because of them improving the physics for the wheel....but I really can't see that. The physics engine will have all sorts of aids and thing to enable pad users to control the cars in GT.

Thanks, it was impossible to realize that before this post.

See my point above, if PD has spent time getting the physics to feel better with a pad it's weakened the phsyics not strengthened it.

PD used different engine for wheel and pad and you can immediately felt it when you sit behind the wheel, only wheel physics had the real simulation. I can confirm better pad control now, especially when catching powerslides but i save my final verdict for next wheek when I bring back home my G25 from weekend house and first time try magic Spa Francorchamps.

 I don't want to do this to the Forza fans, or those thinking of getting F4. But... it is different, and hopping into F3 two nights ago was a pretty startling Gatoraide shower. Still, I haven't even played the demo, so I'm hoping that F4 is the Forza everyone has been waiting for. I got the Limited Edition when the stupid system at Gamestop had me down for a normal copy!

As for the physics, I agree with amar212 on that, and he's having a renewed love affair with GT5 as most of us are.

GAH... I keep forgetting about the DLC pack. Jeepers... just imagine a full field of Touring Cars or Formula GTs running around Spa! :dopey:

After I think about the cars, now we have like 20 versions of miata, nsx, mitsu gto, skyline etc, how many of those are in the game out of 1000 cars we get? 200-300? So that means we still have around 700 different cars to play with, what's not to love?

ditto - 2.0 rocks !

in addition to the above, absolutely loving the ability to tweak weather on Nur, Nur-24, and LeMans for one-make and practice runs !!

(no longer forced to drive in heavy rain, and can set starting time and progression)

How can I when a game series I have loved since the 1st game has disappointed me so much and I get so much grief from unsympathetic selfish people?

Never fell out of love with GT 5! :)👍
