That is why we need to remeber September 11th and support out troops oversea. We got get rid of terrorism and have a safe world.

Knowing our culture, once this generation fades, then we'll forget all about 9/11 (unless it is made a holiday). We'll go on, and to the next generation, it'll be just like Pearl Harbor is to us: a distant tragedy that means absoluely nothing to us.

There is no debate about it that the USA is the best. Followed by Canada, America Jr.

please...

there's no best country... that's blind patriotism, my friend

I hate what happened on 9/11/01. I am sure everyone else does as well. It was especially hard on a teacher at my school. I was in 4th period and my teacher did nothing but use his cell phone. He was trying to get hold of his sister who works in New York. She was there for a confrence. She was not killed but you could see on my teachers face the fear that a sibling had died. It must have been the toughest hours of his life.

God bless the families who were hurt due to the events of 9/11/01. :USA:

9/11/01 was a pretty terrible experience for me. I was sitting in my car in the school parking lot when I heard about it on the radio.:( At first, I was just like...damn, that's horrible...I can't believe it...etc. But about half-way through the day we finally were allowed to watch the news, and they started saying stuff about one of the planes being an American Airline, out of New York. That's when it was hardest for me because my Dad is a pilot for American Airlines, and he flies out of NY. (He lives here in SC, but flies up to NY on the weekends and works on the weekdays.)

I wasn't allowed to call him on my cell because, well....it was during school. And we weren't being allowed to use office phones for some ungodly reason.

Anyhoo, after an hour or two they finally told what type of planes they were, and I realized it wasn't my Dad because he didn't fly those types of planes for AA. My stepmom flies for United Airlines, but I didn't give a rat's ass if she was involved or not, I was only concerned about my Dad.

Anyways, like ViperConcept said, God bless the families who were hurt due to the events which took place on 9/11/01.:(

Red: Ouch!

That's tough that you weren't allowed to try and call your Dad though Josh.

I'd taken the day off, Bird had come down from Sheffield the day before. We were going to (and did) see Alien Ant Farm at the Astoria 2. I'd got up late and went downstairs to phone the office just to make sure everything was ok.

I thought it was a wind up, i told the guys to **** off, one of the guys just said "turn on the TV".... I couldn't believe it, still don't. I called Bird down and we sat and watched, Both towers were still up. I said to Bird "that ones coming down soon!" about 30 seconds later it fell.... Still freaks me the frick out.

There's a guy about three desks over from me, he's called Tony, he was up those towers a matter of days / weeks before setting up software on PC's for traders. I guess they're dead now. We have speed dials and numbers that don't work anymore.....

Oh crap.....

I can't deal with all the replays of the planes hitting the towers - I'm trying to miss as much of the coverage as I can. I'll read the print media, but it looks like the ol' PS2 and the DVD are going to get a bit of a run over the next week or so.

i don't watch that much TV anymore cuz mine blew out and my parents have to watch their shows. I'd prolly play SNES all day...

Yah I have a PSOne ((thus the user name)), but I need to get come of the old RPGs out
