9/11/01 was a pretty terrible experience for me. I was sitting in my car in the school parking lot when I heard about it on the radio.

At first, I was just like...damn, that's horrible...I can't believe it...etc. But about half-way through the day we finally were allowed to watch the news, and they started saying stuff about one of the planes being an American Airline, out of New York. That's when it was hardest for me because my Dad is a pilot for American Airlines, and he flies out of NY. (He lives here in SC, but flies up to NY on the weekends and works on the weekdays.)
I wasn't allowed to call him on my cell because, well....it was during school.

And we weren't being allowed to use office phones for some ungodly reason.
Anyhoo, after an hour or two they finally told what type of planes they were, and I realized it wasn't my Dad because he didn't fly those types of planes for AA. My stepmom flies for United Airlines, but I didn't give a rat's ass if she was involved or not, I was only concerned about my Dad.
Anyways, like ViperConcept said, God bless the families who were hurt due to the events which took place on 9/11/01.
