In one of O.G. Loc's mission, it should be the first when he gets his "job" at the Burger Shot. Its the mission where you have to dance to get the soundvan. Well, the problem is, I was never good at doing this "DDR" stuff. And 4,000 points in that crap is like all of the reutine. I'm lucky I did the one in the lowrider for Sweet.

I'm having to stoop to thoughts of cheating. Is there any gameshark v4 codes where I could skip the mission, or something?

It's not too hard. Just tap the buttons to the beat of the music. 👍
It don't appear hard. I cannot flow with the music. I've been trying all day and theres no way with my poor ass reaction time that i'm gonna succeed in this mission.

You were able to type a response to mine in under a minute. Your reaction time doesn't seem too slow. Just keep trying, and concentrate.

Sorry, there's not really anything that can help you, you just have to do it. That was probably the hardest mission in the game for me. If you're as bad as you say -you even had trouble with the lowrider thing- you probably want someone else to do it for you. I found the lowrider challenge to be very very easy, but the dancing mission took me a looooong time.
Things that don't help but are related:
-If you just walk away when the DJ asks you to dance, traffic will not spawn in anywhere you go. Not in the least usefull, but fun!
-If you're not one of those people who reloads the game everytime you fail a mission, you can get tons of MP5 ammo out of this. Every time you fail the mission, kill everybody at the party. They've all got MP5s and won't shoot back.

Happy button mashing.

Since i'm borrowing the game from a friend. I'm gonna get him to do it for me, since he beat it first try - as he says.

But thanks for the help. :)

I found this easy. We Dancing Stage generation types all do.

Don't listen to the music. As soon as the button hits the very middle of the circle, tap the corresponding button. Don't allow for the music beat, or any form of lag, tap it at the very moment it is in the exact centre of the circle. Do not listen to the music. If you have to, mute the sound. It's not always to the perfect timing of the beat, usually it isn't.

We had a thread exactly like this. It said exactly the same thing as this one, please search in future.

That being said I find listening to the beat to be the best way to do it.

You don't play a musical instrument do you? :sly: I play keyboard, so i can keep beat really well. It's easy really. You don't need a fantastic reaction time - mine is useless, but i can keep beat.

I used to have heaps of trouble with it, but then I started bobbing my heads with the beat and it just makes it so much easier, dancin' with the controller :p

My girlfriend's little sister is obsessed with the game, she plays it more than me, yet I still have to do the dances on each date and mission! :grumpy:

If I get a dancing date, I fail it and just reload-- its randomly generated (I'm pretty sure)-- the one thing I hate about SA-- dancing in a video game

I've never had any problem with the lowrider contest, Life's a Beach anything else similar in the games.

They were always really easy to me. I think I passed Life's a Beach first time and lowrider contest second time, and when I've played San Andreas twice since then passed those points and passed them first time. Maybe I just got natural rhythm!

My problem wasn't the rhythym-- it was not knowing which button is which. I don't ever look at the controller so didn't know what button to push when looking at the screen-- they should have done it with the D-pad instead-- I had to study the controller for a bit to pass the mission. I just skip the dates when they came up.

I'm one of those that know the buttons like the back of my hand. Pressing buttons is second-nature to me. I've also found that tapping the buttons quickly as opposed to holding them down for half a second seems to help a lot. My 9,090 Dance Score in the Record Book came primarily from doing that. Either way, you need to have a good attention span and concentration.

Hold the controller up and out in front of you so you can see the screen and controller at the same time...

I've done all the main storyline missions upto (and failing once on the way out during the fire) what i presume is the final mission with sweet's crack factory. But there is still a mission i'm yet to finish in 'Las Vegas' that requires me getting a key from my 'girlfriend's' house north of the strip, i can't remember her name, but she's the one who works at the Casino and moonlights as a dominatrix. Trouble is, when ever i go around to hers to 'date' her - shes never in. I read somewhere that you can just walk into her house when shes out, but the doors never open.

Help please!

Thats millie, I usually save at the safehouse west of her house and drive over and arrive at about 4 or 5 pm and she will be there. I've heard off issues of her not being there... though.

you can kill her and then enter the house for the key card, or date her up to get the key card-- if you date her up, wear the gimp suit and you get to "skip" the date.

Thanks for that, but i sorted it last night anyway. I'd read somewhere that you have to be there at the stroke of midnight for her 'halo' to appear - i'd been trying it on and off for months with no luck. It turns out that you need to be on foot around this time because she rings you on the cell phone and asks for a date. All i'd been doing was driving round and round killing time waiting for the halo to appear, and you never get the call if you are in a car/on a bike! - Anyway got the call, killed the girl, got the card, robbed the casino & finished the Los Venturas missions.
