Last week I finished my third semester at college. My GPA was above a 3.5 and I had never scored any lower than a B in anything ever. Then, to my surprise, I failed one of my science courses this semester. I was shocked. I thought I had been doing fine. Anyway, the problem is I'm planning on transferring to a higher level college (Such as a major University). But with an F on my transcript and a GPA that took a dip, I'm afraid I won't get any scholarship and will no longer be able to afford to go to the college of my choice (And no, my college doesn't offer grade forgiveness). I'm considering whether to take an equivalent class that would count for the credits I would have received had I gotten a B or above. Nonetheless I'm still quite worried. Would a university care if I had one F amongst a bunch of As and Bs? Will this F ruin my scholarship opportunities?
