Incorrect rumours and predictions...

For example there is alot of specualtion that hitchhikers will make it into the PC version of the game. It fits in with this theory.

San Andreas is one of the only, if not the only dual layered game. At least it was said to be a dual layered disk before the game came out, I presume it is.

I thought R* or Sony said it was dual-layered so people wouldn't bother downloading it and burning it onto DVD's to avoid buying it.

where are the SF and LV impound lots?

At the main police stations on SF and LV--

In SF-- you can enter from east or west (there is a gate like a railroad gate)--- and there is a doorway you can enter-- you will get 3 stars after you have been in there a minute or so---its just a big underground lot--mostly police cars there but if you keep driving farther in you will find some civilian cars parked in the very back.

In LV-- I forget exactly-- you enter it like a normal parking garage I think and then can drive down 1 or 2 levels--I've only been in that one once and it was a while ago.

I tried to find my impounded car after getting busted a few times yesterday but didn't have luck yet---I'm going to keep trying....I customized a banshee--- lime green with a pink stripe up the middle, hydraulics, NO2, and customized rims....its by far the ugliest banshee in the game.... :dopey:

I heard that R* tried to use the physics engine for THUG2 but there were too many bigs and glitches and were forced to drop it, and thus making it too late to develop their own skateboard physics engine. Something to do with conflicting scripts, the one from SA and the other from THUG2. At least R* actually meets their deadlines unlike Blizzard or EA.
 
Woah, now that would have been cool.

I guess the L1+R1 to get off the board would've fit right in with the control layout of SA.
 
Ya, if you look through the games files, you'll see very many messages and pictures that were not included, yet they're on the disk. Someone on GTAgaming.com also found while looking through the texture files, they found a message that read: Are you sure you want to load the expansion pack?. Kinda makes me wonder, there are so many things on the disk that you never get to see and use, it kinda seems like R* is hiding stuff from us.

Hmmm... Maybe not excluded from the game, but actually hidden until R releases an expansion for HDD users.
Maybe they wont, seeing as so many people now use the HDD-less PStwo.

Well ya, maybe with expansion packs we'll get more missions from each city, or even have liberty city as an explorable area?
 
Or at least be able to play a different role...

I'll just wait for R* to say something, or for the PC version to come out.

There are enough games out there to keep me occupied till then.
 
just about the impound thing. I got busted while in a Beagle (don't ask!) a few days later I was genrally rampaging about in SF and found the Beagle in the impound! Dont know if it was a fluke but it doesn't happen that often!
 
A plane in the impound :confused:. Was this a few "real" days later or a few game days later?
 
Well now a plane?:odd: How the eff did it fit? This must be a glitch where rarely it respawns the vehicle to some place either back to the airport or somewhere else?
 
Speaking of Beagles, I found a Beagle parked in someones driveway in Fort Carson a few real days ago. I took a photo of it (with the in game camera) but I don't have any way of uploading it to show people.

Fort Carson is in 'Nevada', right? My friend found a Beagle in the same situation somewhere in Red County once. He couldn't remember where though, damn redneck towns all look the same :P
 
Actually, I had a plane in the Las Venturas impound lot. I'd flown a plane a fair while before that (although I hadn't saved in between), so I shrugged it off. Seems the whole impound thing is true, although very hard to get to work.

I stumbled across one in a town in the desert... Can't remember which one... Probably Fort Carson (just near the L'il Probe Inn).

It was parked in a driveway, with one wing entirely in someone's front porch/veranda. If you got into it, it started smoking, then blew up.
 
i've found the beagle parked in someone's driveway... i spent about 20-30 minutes trying to push it out.. i ALMOST had it, then it blew up and killed me :(
 
A Beagle is a type of Plane. Head over to San Fierro. It's found on the left-hand side just past the very start of the San Fierro Airport runway, among other places.

That is exactly the same one I keep seeing, it seems to spawn there most of the time.
