I need some help. I have a bit of money left over from the holidays and I'm looking for a real football game. I've got NFL Blitz and I love it but it's time to move on to the real thing. From what I gather there are two main contenders, ESPN NFL 2K5 and Madden 2005. Now, I've read reviews and talked to several people and I've pretty much seen both sides of the coin. "Madden is old!! Get 2K5!!" or "2K5 sucks!! Get the real thing, Madden 2005!!". I simplly can't decide because I have no preference, I just want a good solid football game that will be good for hours of play. Somebody tell me something that'll at least make me want one game more than the other! So, let the persuasion begin!

BTW- Just for the heck of it, let's make it a poll. 👍
 
I like the game play of 2k5 alot more, seems like its more realistic and better graphics. Dont forget its alot cheaper too.
 
Thanks for the comments guys. I've looked at many other reviews and I think I'm gonna go with 2K5. It's only 20 bucks so that's pretty cheap. I hope I can find it. I went to one of my local EB gamestores and they didn't have it! Only for the XBox. I was pretty mad.

If I had the money, I would definately buy that, but I only have about 23 bucks at the moment. I've never played a, heh, "football" game but I'd like to try one sometime.

You should, it´s very addicting. Specially when playing against your friends. 👍
