Hello all, I've tried to search for this but I found nothing related. But anyways I have what appears to be a spy/marketing ware issue where certain terms in the text of a thread will be high lighted in green and when I move my arrow over the green text a window appears with a heading that says "Infolinks". This window displays an advertisement for a service or link that relates to the term/word and its really annoying. I am running Vista (:tdown:yes I know), and I use AVG 8.5 but it doesn't seem to be taking care of the problem. Has anyone had this problem before? What can be done get rid of this nuisance or is there a reference you can guide me to? Thanks all.

Respectfully, Mark

I have the same problem, but only on GTPlanet, and a handfull of other websites.
Tried a lot of anti virus/spyware etc.
Didn't work. Would also appreciate a solution.

Which anti virus/spyware did you try?

nk4e's suggestion is a good one. They fix just about anything from my experience..

Soprano, InfoLinks is an advertising service that webmasters can run on their site - it is not any type of malware or anything that you can remove from your computer. If it is causing problems, I included an option near the bottom of this page which you can select to disable them.

Wow thanks Jordan! All this time I thought I had spyware lol. Thanks for the link, and I disabled them just to get rid of the distractions.

Thanks again!
